After watching the Tmo commercial, yeah it was better But does sprint have that many points to make as Tmo? Regardless, it's good to see Tmo and sprint specifically going after the top dog. I don't see att targeting Verizon! While I am pro sprint again it's good to see BOTH Tmo and Sprint taking in VZW..... these commercials are about as close as they can get working together. I agree. I thought SoftBank would fly in fix the network, expand the network, and sprint would be on top. I also expected prices to go up. Not that sprint hasn't made gains I thought they would be more significant by now. But I do like what Marcelo is doing just keeping my fingers crossed it works out

I believe now is the time to release "the path " tell the people about ngn with more detail, clarify the whole tower issue. Say something simple like "we won't be turning off towers or interrupting service, new towers won't go live until they are fully completed. So very minimal if any difference in service" Give the people some hope! Lol I know it can't be done by the 7th, I was joking but honestly sprint seriously needs a game changer. Rebranding might be to late now, but what can sprint do? I have been holding on for hope with sprint but it is really starting to look bleak.... Weren't some people saying sprint would die out in 12-24 months a short while back? This will be interesting...

I don't understand why sprint is letting the stock tank. The tower companies denied reports and started climbing again. Why hasn't someone released a statement of what's going on?? As far as marketing goes when will give let the sprint name rest? We keep trying to revive it and justify keeping it. Time to let it go, buy us cellular and carry that name. THE PEOPLE have lost confidence in sprint and the mention of the name sends people running. Get creative get some plans get a name and release it Super Bowl Sunday !!!!

If sprint isn't using a Nextel tower it's because it's to close to an existing sprint tower. However I do suspect that the densification plan will bring some back on line.

I thought sprint was doing much better but apparently people don't see it. Stock was @ $2.81 today wondering how bad it will get. Bringing in subs is a must but the growth isn't fast enough to build confidence. I really think son needs to grab us cellular and maybe see what Charlie can offer. I don't see anything positive for sprint as far as stocks and investors go unless they buy someone or get bought. That will get those $$$$ moving. The NGN project is all good but that seems to be stuck in neutral for some reason. That said Tmo has simply plans vzw has its s m l xl plans . Sprint needs to offer a simplified price plan structure with reasonable overage rates according to the plans price per gb, waive access fees and run a hell of a marketing campaign. I have been wishing the best for sprint but it's not looking good for them. Money wise the network finally starts coming around and bam layoffs, budget cuts , etc smh

Smh.... Both sides have good arguments, What happens when someone signs an exclusive deal??? As in only this carrier has access just on a whim Google and sprint hook up???? It's a crazy thought but if big companies get involved this net thing could get real ugly quick. As far as the government goes they are usually bought out by lobbyist.. These so called "wins" for us usually lays the groundwork for the company to thrive in a different way at a later date..

My partner has vzw 3 phones on contract $280 month 6gb After advocating and telling her to switch in the store the manager approved an early upgrade as she is a 14 year customer. Changed plan to xl +2 gb 14 total a month. 260~ a month???? Anyways I explained they could keep the coverage in Montana 40+gb a month 8 lines $280 a month Including new iPhones and note 5.... Their look was priceless.... best part was they were so confident we made a bet on data speeds if I lost I would get a Verizon line if I won the had to cough up a Bose speaker.... Guess who left with a nice red speaker!!!! My note 5 blows my 6s in speeds when I pulled that out I didn't go under 90 Thanks vzw!! Point is everyone still thinks sprints network is garbage They told me sprint throttles after 3gb!!!!! Smh

Long story short all test done inside a vzw store.. They jumped on me for having sprint started talking about data and speeds. They couldn't get over 35 with their phones...... I explained they don't give enough data to use because most vzw people beg for wifi.... Nuff said after the speed tests they started talking about coverage in Montana.. If we are in Massachusetts why are we comparing coverage in Montana???!!!

That's like saying vzw is almost flawless with a 99?? Smh sprint is right there a 99 and a 98 should be a tie for 1st I

One thing to add is your getting a new phone every year. I used to pay an avg of $200 plus the built in $~15+ per month So $180 per year plus $200 down Avg of 380 per year to have a new phone every year on contract. An iPhone at 25x12 is $300 still cheaper It's the same with cars leasing is always cheaper UNLESS you buy and keep for several years. In the phone world leasing is cheaper as well. After about 2.5 years owning is cheaper which in today's world most people don't retain a phone longer than 2 years. I can't think of one company whose technology hasn't changed either where a new phone will benefit customer Example Sprint WiMAX Lte Triband 2x ca Next year 3+ ca Wi fi calling is new

I don't think people would be so upset if Marcelo wasn't talking about it so much. If they just came out and released wouldn't be so disappointing. That said I will stick with my plan. I am happy with it!

If they waive acces fees a lot of bills get cut in half. Did anyone see in the sprint press release the mention of integrating wifi and wireless seamlessly?
