  1. Sensorly...there's a thread about it here: http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/4145-sprint-lte-coverage-maps-via-sensorly/
  2. I knew 800 SMR was good but this is UNBELIEVABLE! !!!! I picked up 800 just north of Raleigh Sunday from a Site in Peabody, MA. Seriously though, glad to finally pick up something even it's the testing SID. At least it means they're starting to deploy in the Raleigh area. Good news for me soon at my house since we don't get a great signal here. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 4

  6. Mike, just PM'd you my signalcheck_cache.db file. Definitely see some off entries with several GPS coordinates showing the same address when they are actually different towers. Let me know if there's anything else you need.
  7. Thanks for the input Mike. I have a thought, not sure how your code works but just thinking out loud here, knowing where I usually connect to the site that's showing me the bogus address. It's a remote location that I go through sometimes to pick the kids up from school. I usually hand off between a few sites on the way, and the location that I'm seeing is on a site that briefly pops up before/after I'm roaming in that area. Is it possible that, at the time I went through that area, the connection to the geocoding server didn't work and that later when the device was finally connected to the internet again that request went through and returned that address for a later request? I'll try to pull the SQLite db from my S3 later today and send it to you. Thanks for the help.
  8. Or in the Raleigh market that I can find so far. On a related note, Signal Check on my S3 keeps showing as connected to a Site that's 12 miles away when there are 5 closer to me and usually only one that I always connect to at the house. Signal check and the debug screens are showing that I am on 1900 (Band Class 1) and not on 1x800 so I don't see how I can really be connected to that Site. Reboot of my phone didn't help, as I was thinking it might be related to the bug Mike mentioned once before about the location being stuck on some phones. When I roam (which usually happens for a few feet as I move away from the window) it shows I am connected to Alltel and the BSL changes to the usual address that it shows for that site. Any ideas? Really seems unlikely to me that I'm connected to the Site 12 miles away when I usually barely get a signal from a Site 3.5 miles away because of all the trees.
  9. Thanks. Took the kids there last summer when we went to visit family. I hadn't been in many years, but it's still a great zoo. And the gators are always fun to watch.

  15. Slightly "off-topic" but the broadband maps on that site can be misleading in many places depending on how the provider supplies the government with their data. My home, in particular, is a good example. It shows I have DSL provided by CenturyLink (which I don't) and cable provided by Time Warner (which is not available either). Some providers only give information on zip codes rather than down to specific street levels where they actually provide service. Now, you can file a report on the website for your specific address and they will probably update the maps eventually but I think they only update the map like every 6 months or so. And it's only for the address you report so if there's a large area around you that also doesn't have service I don't really know how accurately they would update it. The wireless carriers would probably provide more accurate maps since they have their own coverage maps already but I haven't really checked.
  16. Most likely just a hiccup since I haven't seen this again. It was actually the first time I tried it after the latest upgrade. I've used it several times since then with no issues so I'm not all that worried about it. Just giving some feedback since some others had mentioned it too. Great app and thanks for all your hard work Mike.
  17. I am rooted on my stock GS3 and ran into an issue once with getting stuck in airplane mode. Couldn't get out of it even turning it on/off several times in the notifications bar as well. I restarted my phone and luckily it hasn't happened since. Never had the issue with it asking for root permissions, but I'm not on CM.
