Being an owner & user of the Galaxy Note 5 I didn't plan on upgrading this soon simply because I'm on subsidy but this LG G6 at Sprint for $119.76 at $4.99 a month was a deal I just couldn't pass up plus it's a decent device capable of 3xCA.
So I pulled the trigger just now right before midnight on the 18th of August 2017.
Your thoughts!

T-Mobile's network is nowhere near anything as stable as Verizon's network. I just did a project using T-Mobile and Verizon as backhaul for a test, and T-Mobile's coverage was sorely lacking 5 minutes away from city center.
Side by side, Verizon is > 50mbps while T-Mobile is around 3mbps.
Agreed.
If anything t-mobile is great at pr stunts but no matter how much hype they spend on promotions it doesn't compare to Verizon's network. Anyone who leaves big red is doing it out of impulse and Will quickly learn the grass is not greener in fact it's all smoke and mirrors with legere who excel at marketing.

Here is the latest update on the T-Mobile merger situation with Sprint :
http://www.tmonews.com/2017/05/sprint-softbank-informal-merger-talks-deutsche-telekom-t-mobile/
I've read that article and the comments at let me tell you T-Mobile staff is moderating the comments. Anything that has to do with debating the issue is closely scrutinize. If you post something positive about T-Mobile they'll post it, if you post something other or debate in a logical sensible way they won't post it or they'll remove it eventually. I've tried many times to open up a conversation where it is a good thing for the merge and so forth and so on. They don't want to hear it and don't want anyone to read about it. A lot of this comments that were posted here on this forum they would have been deleted on the T-Mobile news article long ago. One of the commenters you really have to look out for is Andrew Addison. He's all over the place and pretty much painting T-Mobile and LaGree as a personal savior and Sprint as the Antichrist.

Mergers, Alliances and Acquisitions Oh My!
When the merger between Sprint and t-mobile come to pass it is clear that Johnny Boy legere will not be running the company and maybe just head of marketing. That is a great thing.

With a government auction for spectrum -- i.e. airwaves -- now complete, it could be deal time for T-Mobile.
Question remains is it a buyout of T-Mobile versus T-Mobile merger or other.

Ah ok...hmmm I wonder why Android 7.1.1 is being delayed. It seems silly since at least Android 7.1 has been available since Oct 2016.
Perhaps knowing which devices have Android Nougat 7.1 May hold the answer.

Dish bought out by t-mobile?? Hardly!
Comcast and Verizon are behemoth entities. It would be close to impossible for either to buyout the other unless it's a hostile takeover.
Keep in mind the current gov't will have to bless off on any deal with anything of this magnitude. As of now the Republicans run the show plus Trump and legere are on bad terms.
Let the politics dance...

FYI in regards to the G4 Android 7.0 Nougat.
Btw here's an excerpt from the article:
" the long wait for the update continues - and the update may not arrive until a full year after Nougat's original release. LG's statement also applied specifically to its rollout plans for South Korea, so the wait for those in other markets could be even longer "

Where can I get the Microsoft Office key for the Note 5!?
-
Yeah it's a bit bigger this time, hopefully the next one is over a GB and is Nouget.

Myself I'm looking forward to Android 7.0 Nougat and I'll take the changes to TouchWiz as well.
Btw the G5 received Nougat last year 4th quarter but the G4 hasn't.
*What does that entail

Morning all,
I need some advice or and recommendations in regards to replacement on the S-pen. It's broken and I'm aware they're expensive.
Any leads where I get pick one up without having to pay an arm an a leg .
-
Mine did something similar in February, it was related to the G4 recall. If you bought it before September, they should replace it no questions asked.
It was an upgrade in late October 2015.
-
If made sometime before early fall, could be covered by a special warranty for boot loop issues. Take to Sprint repair center.

Upgrade was end of month of October 2015.

In a galaxy far far away there came the Note 8.
So who's getting it. Well keep this in mind that Best Buy always undercuts its competitors.
