So what you all simply saying is that this .13 radio is knocking the phone down to 3G when is sensing eCSFB issues on ANY of the 3 LTE bands?

I'm on band 41 about 70% of the time since I got this update.

There's already threads talking about this.
That's how I found the info.

By the time any merger closes, if it even happens, and plans and such are made, the Nexus 5 will be but a distant memory. We're talking 2+ years in the future.
That merger is closer than you think. Word is that is a done deal and both companies will merge to be called "SoftBank USA". We will here more about it this week.

So I have been driving around midtown Manhattan Rockefeller center and I can not hold LTE. After airplane toggle I get B41 for no longer than 2 minutes. At what point does it go back onto LTE? I tried playing some YouTube videos or Netflix to see if it scans for LTE based on need but it stays on 3G.

I'm starting to notice that I can't hold LTE on this new radio. Its camping on 3G the majority of the time. Sometimes when I'm home I get B41 but only in my living room and not for long. I'm completely stock and unrooted and finally got spark but its not the experience I was hoping for.

Just got hit on my N5 and my N10 5 minutes later. And as soon as it was done I popped my B41 cherry in my house. And it stayed parked there ever since.

Sorry I didn't know it was "blogspam" I'll be more careful next time. Just found it on my Google now and thought it was interesting to share. Anyways thanks for the original article. Are we really still posting this blogspam? It's a maintenance update. No big functional or visual changes will be made until the next major release.
Also, that article took all the information from this AP article http://www.androidpolice.com/2014/05/09/rumor-google-exploring-home-screen-overhaul-with-revamped-notification-shade-recents-menu-and-more/.

This contradicts @evleaks reports. I guess we wait and see. http://www.xda-developers.com/android/nexus-6-and-8-names-appear-in-chromium-code-review/

I agree. The fact is that people are just ignorant to what we know about Sprint. Let's be real Sprint has suffered some rough times and this is the bad rep it got from the general public and people can be very cruel but that's why we have this site. These forums have enlightened us to believe in the future of Sprint and that's what gives us a one up on the rest of the crowd. We are privileged to have such knowledge and some day Sprint's reputation will turn around and we will be saying "I told you so" lol. What's up with all these dim-witted douches trashing Sprint? I mean, where do you not get Sprint coverage? I grew up in Central Kentucky, had friends in the hills of Eastern Kentucky, visited family here in Atlanta and in Los Angeles and everywhere in between (small towns and huge cities) and have never had an issue with at least getting voice coverage. I've had Sprint since I graduated high school in 1998 and have only had to roam on Verizon a few select times. I know that Sprint doesn't have the coverage that ATT and Verizon have - especially out west. But here in the South, Sprint's coverage is excellent (at least as far as native voice goes and even native data). Why are people so hell bent on bashing Sprint? ...do as the other mindless lemmings do, I suppose??
Sorry for getting all spiritual lol. But all these rumors make me wonder where the future of mobile might be going. If silver is headed for Sprint, could it be a carrier only device? And if so, wouldn't that be against the original nexus principles of being open source and unlocked? But the fact that that we have been waiting so long for this update kinda makes me feel different about the nexus program. Maybe if nexus phones we're carrier specific we would not be in this situation. I love stock android and hate bloatware but I did wish Sprint had more control over my N5 radios are doing and not Google. Google is not prioritizing us Sprint customers. I guess we can't have it all or maybe we will with Silver.

So the rumos is Nexus is dead. I know this might be off topic but I'm wondering what nexus 5 owners feel about this.

Google usually updates their apps on Wednesdays, but as to system updates - no real pattern.
No updates on Saturday and Sunday. Fingers crossed for next week.

Good find. All i want this update to do is enable triband and fix data drops. I called sprint about my msl and they questioned me like im a terrorist.
Are you under contract? I had the same issue with different sprint reps until one of them mentioned that I was still under contract with my GS3 even though I switched to framily plan and got the N5 on easy pay.

Nice, what part of GC?My phone briefly connected to B26 (Was able to snap a shot of Signal Check) this morning @ home in the Bx by the Grand Concourse, But didn't want to post anything until I can confirm it 100% By the time I loaded the field test page it had jumped back on B25..

The YouTube app blows. I use YouTube through my chrome app in desktop mode. The quality has improved for me to what it should be for videos, aka crappy videos look crappy but watchable and not just pixilated garbage.

Clever idea but the app is so much easier to use.

Ehh was at a lounge in Brooklyn for a birthday. Full LTE outside but once we went downstairs it was one bar of 3G. My friends iPhone on AT&T had 4 bars of LTE. was jealous..
Get yourself a tri-band phone and make your friend jealous

Ever since I moved to my new apartment in November last year I never got LTE there. Not even on my GS3. But ever since yesterday my N5 has been holding all LTE bands amazingly. Mostly B41 and all the way up to 130dbms, crazy! When I go into my bathroom I get 1x800 almost every time.
