  1. I like this one Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk
  2. I used to, but I haven't had time to set up my latest laptop with my favorite software.
  3. I tried going into the lounge and it gave me an error. Is it disabled or malfunctioning?
  4. True, I also have WiFi at home and work that I use while I am at those locations. I am keeping my usage to as low as possible, but even with unlimited data, I only topped out over 2 GB in a month a couple times and it was barely over that. I did notice that a couple speed tests on LTE used 47 MB
  5. This is a quote directly from that article on Phandroid: "The thing is, it’s not only Apple who uses Foxconn to make their products. That shiny new Kindle Fire you received for Christmas — guess what? It was built in a Foxconn factory just like the iPad 2. It’s true." Not Kindle, not Kindle Fire 2.
  6. I'm not so sure on how correct this article is. It claims the Kindle Fire was made by Foxconn. Quanta computer manufactured the Kindle Fire. http://www.businessweek.com/magazine/quanta-seeks-profit-in-the-ipad-era-11102011.html
  7. http://www.zdnet.com.au/foxconn-makes-no-profits-on-iphones-activists-339303764.htm http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2012-01-04/apple-profit-margins-rise-at-foxconn-s-expense.html Here are a couple links showing the vast difference in profits that Apple and Foxconn are making on the manufacture of Apple devices. I do agree that Foxconn manufactures a LOT of electronics for other companies, but I have not seen any numbers on their profit margins compared to Foxconn's.
  8. There is also the fact that Apple has a HUGE profit margin on everything that Foxconn makes for them but yet pays Foxconn so little that they have to cut costs to make a profit. You can only cut costs so far becore the only costs you have left to cut are wages, employee comfort and safety. A lot of the heat against Apple is coming because they have such huge profit margins. Customers who buy the bargain brands of electronics shouldn't be surprised when the factory makes the news for inhumane treatment of their employees. On the other hand, customers that pay the premium price for electronics from makers like Apple expect that their products are made in a premium factory with skilled employees who make a decent wage. They don't expect their product to be made in a sweatshop with all the profit going in the pockets of the already filthy rich.
  9. I don't know how it's possible to use a GB in a day "without trying." You had to be streaming and/or downloading files to use a GB in a day.
  10. Interesting. I think I pay about $400 per month for cable, internet, dvr, and phones
  11. Agreed, they should have redesigned the CM logo for CM9
  12. That means I am less than 100 posts from going LTE... Sweet
  13. I had CM on it and that was the ONLY silver lining. I had the phone for the entire 2 years of my contract. It was so slow, I would have about 3 seconds to answer a call before it went to voicemail. I guess it could have been network issues, but I think it was the phone. Then there was the issue with memory. I think it had a 3.5" floppy disc for its memory. I could keep approximately 7 apps installed before overflowing the memory. I had to continuously uninstall and reinstall Yahoo's fantasy football app to clear out the data (there were several times where it reached 25 MB and it was unable to just clear out the data.) The only thing I can say for it was that it was really durable. There were several times that it met concrete at a high rate of speed and after re-inserting the battery and putting the back cover back on, it fired right back up. Then you add the fact that everyone else was using the Evo, and I was very unhappy with the HTC Zero.
  14. Hero... I had that phone and it almost turned me completely against HTC.
