This is in stock TouchWiz. It seems all other apps flip to a gray color except for SCP. Sent from my Galaxy S8+ using Tapatalk

Mike, This may only effect Samsung phones, but I've noticed that when the notification bar is white, the SCP notification in the bar washes out. Is there any chance you could program the notification to switch to gray (or some other dark color) when the notification bar is white? The easiest way to see this is to open the phone app. It changes the top notification bar to white and you can no longer see the SCP signal level. Most other apps seem to switch their icon to gray so you can still see the icons up top, such as Google Play Music. If this has been brought up before, I apologize. I don't remember seeing it. Thanks again for your hard work.

Calling Plus (VoLTE "Lite")
Galaxyguy replied to burnout8488's topic in Network, Network Vision/LTE Deployment
I just did a quick call on my new S8+ with my wife and I was impressed. It didn't seem like there was any additional delay over 1x, and the call was clear. She was on an S7 connected to the cellular network (not wifi calling). I do have good LTE coverage at my house, so I'll have to try it when in some weaker areas to see how it works. Note: I'm posting this from my S7 edge because I don't have Tapatalk set up yet on my S8+. Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk -

From what was posted before, Sprint does not prioritize voice traffic, at least not yet. Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk -
Could this be from trading another carrier to make one 10x10 channel instead of two 5x5 channels? Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk

OK. I gave up that plan to go to the newer plan. It was a good bit cheaper and I like having the 10GB Hotspot. Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk

Is that due to being on a legacy plan? Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk

Is $16.66 per month a good price for the S8 and $20.83 for the S8+? Both are on sale at Best Buy for those prices for 24 months. It works out to $400 and $500 respectively. Is that about the best price they've been, or is that the going rate? Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk

Does the MB connect to the macro with only one carrier? If so, that would make the connection slower than if you have 2x or 3xCA with your phone. Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk

I sure hope so. I would love to try it and then use it if it works well. I have two phones (one personal and one for work), so I can always use the other phone if I need to look something up while on a call, but I think it will be much more convenient to have calling plus enabled. Still waiting for any contact. I've yet to have a phone call or email. I put in for one on the second day. I'm still wondering if I might be getting looked over because of being in a non-Sprint owned market (Shentel). Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk

What phone do you have, and did you enable calling plus on both wifi and LTE? Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk -

Looks like Sprint finally added another 2 phones to Calling Plus. Sprint now lets you use voice and data simultaneously on Galaxy S8 https://www.androidcentral.com/sprint-adds-calling-plus-feature-samsung-galaxy-s8-and-s8-plus Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk -
If he wants a smaller size, go for the SE. Much more modern internals and it's the same size as the iPhone 5. It's also fairly inexpensive. Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk

Looks like just a security update (July 1st). Still no calling plus, unfortunately. Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk

It's probably a rare find according to a conversation I had with another member. Apparent Shentel used some B25 small cells before B41 small cells became available. Maybe some others with knowledge can comment. Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk

Mike, I starred the issues. Just wondering if you saw the bug I posted about a few days ago. http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/3060-signalcheck-android-app-to-monitor-your-2g3g4g-lte-signal-strengths/?p=512380

Mike, I got excited when I thought they upgraded this small cell site to B41, but when I checked the engineering screen, it's still B25. I don't know if anyone had showed you this yet, but it's misidentifying it as B41. I took two screen shots because it's two different small cells at the same site. I haven't checked the two other small cell sites near me yet. Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk

The newest update ends in QF3. You can look in this thread when it came out, but I think it was around the beginning of the month. There haven't been any updates since then to my knowledge. Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk

You may know this already, but others may not. Magic Box can use B25 for back haul. Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk

I'm currently in Breezewood, PA. I didn't know Shentel covered this area, but apparently they do. They sure have a large area now. Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk

That's probably the problem. B25 2nd carrier endings here (Shentel) are 09, 0A, 0B, but they use those for both 5x5 and 10x10. I was hoping you were able to use something to pull from the modem to get that info. Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk

I'm assuming you don't still have a Nexus 5 as it says in your profile. What phone are you using? Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk
