  1. I know right! It's actually not going to be per-say an actual "tower" but would be nestled in directly behind the building and built as a steeple according to this channel's video: http://www.wbay.com/story/25424817/2014/05/04/community-members-protest-cell-phone-tower
  2. This just popped up on the news tonight, here is the video link. Now this is an AT&T tower, but either way if I'm not mistaken, I hear a ton of misinformed people. On that note again I'd like to thank each and everyone of you and especially Robert for schooling me on all of this. I've learned a lot from everyone here and continue to support moving Sprint in the right direction. What do you guys think of this?
  3. What a lot of you don't always remember, there are some of us like mrknowitall526 and myself who wish we could get even halfway decent DSL. Yes DSL, so having a Sprint hotspot is a lifeline. No hotspot, no internet, no other option.
  4. +1 to that, I'm in Appleton almost everyday of the week. Most of the back roads that are purple in Sensorly are from me being curious and filling it in. Service has DRAMATICALLY become better even in the past three months. Currently the main part of Appleton as n9overic said is almost all filled in. I have noticed only a few very random spots around the outskirts of Appleton that are either stronger 3G or weak 4G. I do also fade out to 3G at some parts in the mall, but still fast enough to use. Once the last few towers get finished up, I'm sure it will become even better than what it is now.
  5. I know it's nothing new, that's why I titled it "Old News" because it is many years old, but it is new because this is the first year they are putting it into play.
  6. I know this has been out for a while, but coming in a few short months we will see the Wi-Fi built in to OnStar with AT&T 4G LTE technology. The question though is, cost. No where has hinted at plans or pricing. What do you guys think of this and do you think this will have an impact on Sprint, T-Mobile or Verizon? Do you think we will see this technology expand to other vehicles and carriers?
  7. I really hope that the rest of the Sturgeon Bay/Door County cluster gets upgraded before tourist season starts up there. People from all around the world flock there and I bet a small handful are Sprint customers. None the less, great service in Sturgeon Bay.
  8. Well 6 months later here is the answer. It is a kid friendly phone that parents can help track and make sure their kids are safe. Don't know if this was talked about already somewhere else, but this was the only thread that came up. But I apologize in advance if someone covered this.
  9. Happy belated Birthday!!! This website has been a huge help and I thank you so much for putting in so much effort!
  10. After reading through all these posts and seeing that "what could be" map - I kid you not - I'm grinning ear to ear right now!
  11. Weekend Trip We all need a vacation, who's with me?
  12. Now that I think about it, I'm glad they included the people they did. Even the gerbil or hamster - whichever it is. And I forgot to mention in my first post that these no matter what are x100 times better than the original "Framily plan" commercials. You can slap a lot of information in commercials. The standard 30 seconds doesn't seem like a lot of time to do much with, but there really is a lot you can jam pack in there and enlighten the consumer on what you're promoting/selling.
  13. And this is the part I like about these, they're not focusing on any one group.
  14. I'm trying to be! TV commercials are a big thing, marketing in general is a big thing and I REALLY want to see Sprint succeed here. Having a sub-par ad isn't going to help them. They need everything they can get. But yeah gotta agree, they are okay. Better than some out there now, but still meh. They need something that screams "WOW! Sprint has a great plan and this would save my family and I a ton of money!" But like others said don't focus on the network, because it's not up to par - yet.
  15. I have yet to see these on air. I don't know if they are any better or worse than the others, and I should because that's what I'm going to school for! But my .02, these at least somewhat explain "Framily" but kind of talk less about the actual plan. They might be over doing it on the "Family" and what does the gerbil have to do with cell phone plans? I will say it's goofy.
  16. RT @GoogleFacts: People who over think tend to be more passionate, compassionate and generous towards others.

  17. RT @collin_steffes: I can't stand people who hate on something they don't understand

  18. RT @TheColinMalliet: I am so proud to be a New Dubliner today. ????
