Boy, I haven't found much that's broken here yet? Much better than the S8 one last year!!
Camera shutter can be disabled with toggle, so I'm sure that'll disappear in the final build.

To get into the Beta, install the Samsung+ Beta app from APKmirror:
Then, once you are in there, you'll see a banner asking if you want in, register and boop, you're in.
Still deciding if I want to pull the trigger on this Beta......

Here we go again with the Betas.......

Sprint Calling Plus is NOT working at the moment. I'm going to try to get into the program if I can, but wait for Beta 2 then......
I don't see anything yet in my Samsung+ app. Please let the thread know if you do get in, etc.

Just got it for my unlocked S9 as well. Security fix plus slow-mo camera new feature.

Did the notes say anything about this "slow-mo" feature? Or you just found it?

No, @Rickie546 has as Sprint variant S9+ and it refuses to LTE roam on USCC or AT&T. I'm not sure if he's been elsewhere to test any of the other extended network partners.
Poor Rickie. I'll keep an eye out for proof (don't roam much in Madison anymore thankfully), but I drove out to Western Wisconsin in early June and was connected B12 LTE from USCC according to SCP.

Odd that the normal S9 would seem to allow roaming but the (Sprint locked) S9+ does not.
I'm confused now, the Sprint variant S9+ does LTE roam, I've roamed on USCC here in Wisconsin absolutely. Are you talking about solely the Unlocked S9+ being used on Sprint's network??

Getting WiFi authentication issues on my networks now post ARF9 update. Have had to reenter the passwords even though they were the same. Anyone else?

I do wish that these updates were a titch more verbose in what was changed. I know most folks don't care, but us nerds do.

The hell? downloading now. This makes what 3 updates in 4 weeks? not that I am complaining but why no many updates in such a short period of time.
Because they read this forum and want to make you all happy

Also, this update reset my screen resolution down to FHD+ from WQHD+. Just FYI.

Mine appears to be fine? Did you disable and re-enable or something??

What sort of issues exist? Last weekend I upgraded my wife's S7 Edge to the S9+ and she's very happy with it so far. She used to drop calls 2-3 times during her short 10 min commute to work, now she holds on to her calls for the entire drive. Happy wife, happy life, right?
I've had a real struggle with auto-brightness always being wrong lately. My wife on her S9 has had this issue as well. Frustrating to say the least. That's really the only issue we've seen. The double notifications from things like Twitter are annoying but I'm used to them now.

Hi all,
I was googleing " SM-G965U " and I found this thread.
To make a long story short...my phone is SM-G965U (AT&T unlocked). I was wondering if i can use this phone for unlimited BYOD free plan?
I got the message "This phone can't be activated Sorry, but this phone can't be activated with Sprint service." by using this checker.
https://www.sprint.com/en/shop/bring-your-phone-to-sprint.html?INTNAV=LP:BYOD
Does my only option now is to wait for Samsung to released "brand switching" for the S9+?
Can I go corporate store and ask them to activate the ESN or do a "clickit ticket" in order to whitelist my S9+.
Sorry, I have no idea what is the "clickit ticket" ....just googleing and trying to solve the puzzle.
Thanks all!
I have no clue, but you should ask in the Sprint forums. Sprint folks that know will respond to you there:
https://community.sprint.com/t5/Samsung-Galaxy-S-Series/bd-p/GalaxyS8
Otherwise call in. Sprint's CSRs have really improved lately.

I know this haven't had it this bad in a long while, same goes with Instagram had to disable that running in the background too.
Yeah, my battery life has been pretty stellar, but I'll keep an eye out for rouge Facebooks! I occasionally will go to the Device Maintenance tool in settings and wipe everyone out. Maybe that's helping me. Who knows.

You guys saw this, right?
It was pulled for all S9 phones for some reason that hasn't been fixed.

LOL. The S8 just got their April security update before we did.

How long were you letting this process play out?
15 mins on the shortest, about 2 hours on the longest (he set it up and went to do yard work, came back and still stuck).

odd. can you take it somewhere else to see if it works elsewhere, then try again if it does?
I'll have him do that. I'll also have him just take it outside....duh. didn't think about that. See if he can get a lock there, then just bring it in. Would that work?? or should I re-set it up again inside.

Night Mode keeps crashing on me, back to white theme. Weird. But overall that's the only issue I have run into. I know Calling Plus doesn't work but WiFi calling does, which is what I need. Still impressed.
