The storm's winds will have slowed some by the time it reaches Central Virginia, but it sounds like we'll get a lot of rain. The ground here is still quite wet from repeated storm systems throughout the summer. We may get more fallen trees as a result.

Thanks to another plug-in, I can again log into the forum, but not the restricted portion (the "s4gru club" section). This issue had developed before, and could bee a separate issue.

 

Any suggestions?

GOOD NEWS!  Or at least, I think it is.  I will remain *somewhat* skeptical until I see it fixes the problem.  I received a response from Tapatalk from my latest support ticket.  They say they found the problem of the error.  It's coded in their app.  It wasn't a problem in the past, but the newest version of IP Board has brought to light the loop in their coding that they didn't realize they created.
They say they are working to release a new version of the app that will fix the problem.  They provided no timeline, but said they would keep me updated about its release.
So, in the interim, you can either delete the Tapatalk app until they release a new version.  Or you can live with the CloudFront 48 hour blocks.  Personally, I uninstalled Tapatalk until its fixed.

My question regards the fate of current hardware after such a merger. As I currently use a Sprint HTC U11, I think I'll be fine, but will need to look up what bands it can handle, and whether any of those will be pertinent.  Will VoLTE happen sooner, or later? How will the netowrk handle switching us from band to band, if it's across networks?

Mike, why does SCP indicate Wi-Fi calling, even though it's turned off in phone settings? I can't figure out whether this is a SCP glitch, or if Sprint somehow prioritizes Wi-Fi calling outside my control.

I'm glad to see work is being done, but that's just hilarious.  I think it's easy to see why permitting has been an issue with work like that.

Given the lack of any building codes there, I'm not too surprised

I'm liking it. Very good upgrade from my HTC M9. I haven't used LG, so I can't help you there. It's quick, smooth, and hangs onto signal much better. Camera's real nice, and the audio is good, too.
