Another update:

Visited the Huntington Library, Museum, and Gardens - very beautiful, especially the Chinese and Japanese Gardens

Warner Bros studio tour, Korean bbq at GenWah - excellent!

Petersen Museum, Versailles (good, but wasn't as blown away as I'd hoped)

Santa Monica Pier and Promenade. Ate at Curious Palate which was amazing!

Lots to do, and the weather is perfect every day . . .

Quick update:

Just been here a couple of days, but already had some good food.

Yellow fever - Asian bowl place. I loved the Saigon bowl on noodles.

Sunny Blue for rice balls last evening.

This morning, we hit the Mar Vista farmers market and sampled some great stuff. The best was fig yogurt. Thick, rich yogurt like Wed had in Greece years ago.

I've noticed a few conversions of old towers, but am keeping an eye out for optimizations, without really knowing what to look for other than improved signal/better speeds

Thanks. I find the Files folder, but it's empty, even after running the app today. I have the log sites option checked. Maybe it will appear later?

Just loaded this app to help map some new sites in my (Shentel-nTelos-Sprint) area. I can't see how to export the log file; I found the folder for the app, but it's empty.

Any advice or help pointing me to what is probably obvious? ????

Pantops is closed. Drove by Friday and everything is taken out. Haven't drove by the one at Shoppers World across from the mall yet. From what I was told that Sprint store on the corner near Rio Road is closing and the main store will be Shoppers World.

As an occasional visitor to NYC, I was really impressed with the availability of signal in the subway this past weekend!

1. I'd REALLY like to get separate ringtone and notification levels back!  Mashing them together does not work well for me.

2. Also, I use Automate, which uses location a la Tasker.  In settings, we have to uncheck the use of Google Play Services location API due to some (unreasonable, according to the dev) limit on geofences:

I have come to realize that the option to exclude some apps from Doze has disappeared from my phone.  I do remember being able to do so once since the MM update, but it no longer appears as an option in the 3-dot menu in Power. I would like it back, so if anyone can point me to it, I'd be indebted!

Go to Power>Battery Optimization>Tap Battery optimization Not optimized, choose All apps. The list will pop up and you can choose for each app.
