  1. Mine is currently out for delivery, upgrading from a note 8 on my business line.
  2. Not really sure, I think a single carrier would max out around 35mb but with carrier aggregation you'll get more than that of course. In ideal conditions I can get close to 50mb around the island.
  3. Yep, for years now as soon as I got on the island I switch to 3g because that was reliable while lte performance was non existent regardless of the time of day or night or location. Now I don't have to do that anymore.
  4. Have you at least noticed an increase in speeds? Over here on stt I have notice a substantial improvement with additional band 25 carriers as well as carrier aggregation on band 25. Wish they would add band 13 as well.
  5. Because one of the local companies (Viya) owns and uses that spectrum for the VI market. Not sure what the hold up is with band 13 though. It's shows up occasionally on signal check but it never connects.
  6. Things have improved alot here in the VI market, I still detect the occasional band 13 but still don't connect to it and band 41 won't ever happen here but they made lots of improvements to band 25 including carrier aggregation.
  7. Anyone else not receive their galaxy buds yet? My ship date moved from the week of march 25th to the week of april 1st, I registered for the promo on 3/7.
  8. Yeah, thats surprising considering it comes in at over 500mb. I would expect to have a more detail overview.
  9. I expect it to be the s10 5g model but with a stylus, so that means 6.7" screen and 4500mah battery with less curvy corners as always.
  10. I just read an article that samsung released pie for the note fe which is reincarnation of the note 7, so I'm like how they gonna do that and I don't even have pie for my note 8? Went to check to see if there was an update, and there it was.
  11. Well it says the week of 3/18 so i wouldn't start to worry until next week. Don't feel bad though, I registered on the 3/7 and mines ship the week of 3/25
  12. Took my phone off of the charger late monday night and I'm just now putting it on the charger with 11% battery left. I got 3 days and about 12 hours on that one charge with about 4 hours and 42 minutes of on screen time which included youtube, calls, messages, emails but no gaming. Usage was relatively light since my note 9 is my work horse at the moment but battery life has really impressed me so far.
  13. Ok cool, it would be nice if I got the black ones, I wish they gave us a choice though. Mine should be shipped out next week.
  14. Did they send you the black ones from the promo? Its seems like everyone else been getting white.
  15. The screen uses a decent amount of juice but if your standby time is actually horrible then something is definitely wrong. I just took this screen cap, as you can see, very light usage but after more than a 40 hours I still have 70 percent battery. Maybe you should swap your phone out for another one.
  16. Screen on time of 43 minutes doing various things and only dropped 10%? I wouldn't exactly call that horrible.
  17. I took my phone off of the charger Friday night right at midnight, 1 day and 9 hours later, as I'm typing this, I'm at 52%. All this includes lots of phone calls and emails, over an hour of youtube, about 30 minutes of 4k 60fps video and lots of web browsing.
  18. Well other than that, the only other thing I can think of that would for sure kill battery like that would be if you are in are bad area and your phone is working overtime looking for or keeping a signal.
  19. Random question though, did you basically restore a full back up from your previous device or did you set up your s10 from scratch? Usually restoring a full backup can cause all sorts of random issues that don't play nice with your new device which could cause terrible battery drain.
  20. LOL I assumed you had the s10+, so nevermind then.
  21. Well phone usage won't really affect the battery much but gaming will because that generates heat and we all know heat is bad. In any case if its just a few minutes here or there and nothing substantial then charging your phone 4 times a day is definitely not normal. Over the weekend, I played pubg mobile for about an hour, shot about 20 minutes of 4k 60fps video, phone calls, maybe 30 minutes worth of youtube and I still had more than enough juice left at the end of day, didn't have to recharge once.
  22. Well gaming will kill the battery for sure, how much actual time have you spent gaming?
