  1. Are you getting the 6+ ? ... I noticed today no change on the Sprint "order status" website.. so called them... I was told my iPhone 6+ should ship in about 5 days.. on the site there is nothing..
  2. I couldnt agree more but if you dont have a good camera that doesnt matter either. Apple and HTC have worked on improving the camera sensor and fine tuning things instead of relying on the marketing power of Megapixels. You need those Megapixels if you print alot of big photos otherwise you just dont get the quality. What happens when you take a picture on a 13 Mp camera or even an 8Mp camera and view it on your smartphone..... The best smartphones have a 2Mp display and can't display all those pixels. The latest greatest 4k Super Hd screens only display around 7 Megapixels.. If you consider how many people dont consider they are viewing a 8Mp picture picture or larger on a screen that can only display 2Mp and think they are seeing the quality or can really see all those Mp's really havent thought it through. You lose even more quality becsuse when you post pics to facebook the picture quality is degraded more to keep web traffic smoother. You can click on pics to load better quality versions i believe.
  3. Nothing on Sprints website at all about my order - except the info showing it was ordered.. haha I wouldnt be surprised if it was 3 weeks.. of course like everyone im hoping its days not weeks. Maybe I shouldve tried the Apple store- you have that overwhelming feeling that Apple will have its own stores stocked before say Sprint? Might be way off ..
  4. whats the difference between Clear b41 and Sprint b41 ?
  5. Hi everyone.. was wondering if the new ceo's b41 strategy is going to affect b41 rollout in columbus one way or another if its known.. im hoping deployment continues here as some markets might be delayed as others become more priority..
  6. We'll see.. Either way it's coming.. Last year the 64gb model was more available and they were also the top tier priced and they made less of those as well.. So it's hard to say..
  7. Ordered the iPhone 6 Plus 128 Gb Gold model for my wife and hoping it ships on release day or soon after.. I'm thinking maybe the 128 Gb model will be more readily available .. If not I guess it's not that big a deal
  8. Is specifies Sprint iPhone in the link above. I Switching carrriers in USA.. http://www.forbes.com/sites/marcwebertobias/2013/10/23/how-to-switch-carriers-with-your-new-iphone-5s-or-5c/
  9. \ Depends, you should be able to use your iPhone 5S from Verizon without any problems on AT&T's network. The same goes for using it on T-Mobile's network. All you have to do is pop out the SIM card and replace it with one from AT&T. The phone will not only be able to operate over AT&T's GSM-based voice and text messaging network, but you should also be able to get 4G LTE speeds on the phone. You can't do this with a Sprint iPhone because they use GSM obviously ( and Sprint doesnt ).. but an ATT iPhone will NOT work on Verizon because it has no CDMA. Talk is more interoperability is coming due to AWS spectrum.. In addition, to those technical limitations when it comes to device interoperability, there's also another barrier: carrier software locks. This is additional software that's been added to the devices at the carrier's request, which locks the device to a particular carrier. The locks can be lifted with special codes you can get from the carrier. A new law signed by President Obama dictates that carriers are required to provide these unlock codes to customers who own their phones and are out of contract.
  10. iPhones have been able to be unlocked for quite some time.. pretty sure since at least the 4s... but definately the 5 and newer.. 5s and 5c.. so I doubt this will change now with the even broader support of world networks in the iP6... right now they already show the iP6 as unlockable https://myimeiunlock.com/
  11. If the phone does band 26, but doesnt do 2500/2600 - it won't work - because (?).......... the 800 LTE is only boradcast in tandem with the other 2 bands ? Is this a close assumption on my part ?
  12. COz or anyone... Any idea when Sprint will start with adding 800 LTE in Ohio ?
  13. Cell ID found.. Moved to Cols Sponsor thread
  14. Can't remember what I needed on engineering screen but I'm out the door to work soon
  15. Picking up LTE in Blacklick in my home ( which I never do ) this morning... (-88 db)
  16. Before going My thought was surely service couldn't be worse with no hills to obstruct signals.. Most of those areas had much less super structures to impede signals.. And it's not just flat there.. It's very flat
  17. I have an iPhone 5c now, but my wife has a Galaxy S4 and my son uses a LG G2.. We experienced similar issues In some areas service was great but it was inconsistent. I figured with it being so flat there .......yet in Ohio I rarely drop calls anymore
  18. Ok Coz, at least you're being honest, but give me a break please. I've never posted anything like that before. I was just sincerely disappointed. I've been supportive of Sprint and I haven't counted them out but I have supported this upgrade cycle and I still am for the time being.
  19. "However, negative comments about Sprint or S4GRU must be constructive in nature, relevant to the topic and the conversation, illustrate facts, be made rationally and intelligently " I illustrated the facts, they were rational post. I expected service to be better. I'm not a troll and I've been very supportive of Sprints progress in Ohio. To say I expected more in Florida when they have had LTE so much longer is an honest and rational statement. I didn't troll a nasty post and I even got a LIKE from a premier sponsor. Now you're gonna censor me? Look anyone who gets bad service in areas that are ahead of Ohio will ask honest questions that are legit.
  20. So they can talk about hilton head here but I can't talk about lousy service on my trip? Is it now wrong to be honest in this open forum?
  21. haha yeah.. i mean if the 3g is usable ( compared to Sprint legacy 3g - that usually wasn't usable ) .. but you get used to LTE speeds and not waiting on the network
  22. I "liked" this since I live in Cols, but I have a cousin in Cinncy who has expressed possibly going to Sprint once they get good coverage..
  23. I think part of it is upgrades have come slower and people aren't checking here as often. (?) But it looks like Columbus will be mostly complete when Sprint announces the launch. I'm hoping though the E broad / Lancaster area gets LTE .. there is one slightly north and south of E Broad.. and one east of those near the cematary off E Broad and 270.. they form a triangle ( of which there is no LTE ) ..and hopefully 2 r 3 of these will be done soon
