  1. I have taken photos of the tower both pre and post tower work/painting. They put new Sprint antennas up a few weeks ago. I am going by on my way in to work this morning to see if they went on the racks that were installed on the legs (?) of the tower or around on the safety fence thing on top. The antennas were up on the lifts at least back over the summer, if I recall. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 4
  2. Can't say for sure. I've always subscribed to the "by the end of the year" estimate. It's more than Sprint, though. Keep in mind the contractors and local jurisdictions play a part in how fast this all goes live. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 4
  3. I've been getting hit and miss LTE signals in downtown and in the metro area. There has been a lot of work being done physically, but there is still inspections and acceptances to go through. It's disappointing, but it is being worked on, no doubt. Soon.
  4. Maybe they are testing the signal. This is good news for me when I head down there to visit my family every few months.
  5. It takes a few days for the equipment itself to be installed, but it will still have paperwork and inspections to go through, too. I'm not sure of the time frame that Tulare and Visalia look at between completion of installation and acceptance. Perhaps MacinJosh can chime in when he can...
  6. Got this speed test at my house. This is huge because I usually pull maybe .10/.05 on a good day... Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 4
  7. There is a lot of work going on in the market. It will happen soon. I lived in the Tulare/Visalia area until I went to college. Whenever I come down to visit, I look for progress. I think Visalia has a few towers that are in progress, but I'm not sure what the story is for the Exeter/Farmersville area.

  10. I do what I can. The more that people can contribute, the more thorough the site can be. Just doing my duty as a tech follower.
  11. That's what I was thinking. The signal wasn't horribly strong and I lost it when I walked about 15 feet back to my car. It's high enough to definitely come from either West Sac or the site that's further north on the other side of Capitol Park, since there has been some dark purple on Sensorly there, too.
  12. It might be from West Sac...don't get signal all over the location, just right by the cabinets. And the antennas are still Legacy 3G. Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk 4
  13. Well, well, well...I have 4g at the antennas at this location. :-) I will post more details and photos/screenshots in the sponsor thread. Woo hoo! Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk 4
  14. I think that was determined to not be a Sprint tower. I believe it is T-Mobile. The Sprint tower is a few blocks from there, though. The sponsor map on the sponsor page will show you exactly where with a photo. Welcome aboard the crazy train! I'm going to try to go over there sometime today and see what I see. I know where the equipment is, but can't say outside of the sponsor forums (TOS and all). But you can see the equipment on Google Maps. I'll PM you.
  15. Check out the BLAZING FAST SPEEDS at Sac State right now.... *sigh* -_- Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk 4
  16. I'll be down there tomorrow. I'll make sure I pack my good camera and see if I can get a few photos of it for you. Let me know by PM or in the sponsor forums if you need any other HQ photos in the Tulare/Visalia area, Josh. I'm planning on a long day trip, but we might stay the night and head back up north early Sunday.
  17. I haven't gotten 4G in midtown in at least a solid month, so this is a good thing. My office building is fairly new, but I get very bad reception when I am at my desk. Hopefully work will actually physically start soon. Exciting stuff!
  18. To be honest, I wouldn't necessarily believe everything the customer care reps tell you unless they are really far up the food chain. If permits have been issued, that's an indicator that it will be soon. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 4
  19. This could either be from one of the West Sac towers or maybe they're actually working on the antennas that are nearby at about 16th Street. There has been on again/off again 4G for about a month in downtown and midtown.
  20. I haven't heard anything for Sac State yet. Reception is awful on campus, particularly in the union. Hopefully by the end of the year. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 4
  21. I ended up running Sensorly from the clinic in Roseville to Sac State via I-80, then to Rancho via 50. Signal Check told me I hit a patch of LTE at Bus-80 and Marconi. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 4
