  1. I'm pretty sure it was mentioned a lot of work in Natomas this week. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  2. Going through downtown up to Sac State, still had old NID broadcasting, but saw the switch at about College Greens to the Samsung NID. It's starting to switch over. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  3. And another... Seems to be, yes. The new equipment broadcasting, should change to 1x800 and/or LTE in the very near future. Go go UCV. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  4. And the signal held until past the Tiber RT station. Nice! Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  5. . New equipment broadcasting on this one near Watt and Hwy 50. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  6. Mmmmm....Adalberto's.... Speaking of which, the one I go to is right on the city limit line between Rancho Cordova and Sacramento and they get signal from the Sacramento towers. No Rancho love for my 'Berto's, but soon!
  7. Yeah, that area in there is pretty sketchy. On the International side, that is right around the outside of the reach for a tower that does broadcast 4G now, though it isn't very regular. It is solid (when it is broadcasting, at least) when you get into the houses there at Stone Creek, though. It's not consistently on 4G, but I get it more often than not around there.
  8. That's my guess, too. It's in fits and starts, but it is still out there more often than not in certain parts of Rancho.
  9. So, driving home yesterday, I picked up LTE on the eastbound 50 between Watt and Bradshaw exits. I think it was from the tower that you see from the freeway further up. I lost it after I passed Bradshaw, then picked it up again near Mather Field exit. I also had some solid LTE while near Sunrise Mall yesterday afternoon. I did a bit of mapping and some speed tests on Sensorly when I wasn't driving. Good times.
  10. Not giving up my N5 now that I have it, but it's nice to see some more promising options potentially on the horizon. Hope to see some good reviews in the next few weeks after it comes out in Japan.
  11. The North Coast is awful with reception. I usually don't even have my phone on when I go that way. But, in the flat valley interior, it's pretty good overall except for some spotty areas around Mt. Shasta. The hilly environment isn't very conducive to a clear signal. I use Spotify and Pandora very often on my drives in the car and I haven't had any issues driving north on I-5 or south on Hwy 99. Yes, I assume it's probably because it's relatively flat. And the markets that direction are pretty built out at this point.
  12. That's your call. I haven't had much of a problem when traveling unless I'm in a known spotty area (between Woodland and Red Bluff is off and on, but last time I drove through, it was consistent). Traveling south along 99 between Sacramento and San Diego last month was awesome coverage with the exception of the grapevine between Grapevine and Gorman. Other than that, it was great.
  13. Got some Sensorly mapping done in and around Mather and on my way into work to catch some of the new LTE signals that went live in Rancho. It's a lot more dependable since they first went live. Good times.
  14. They should be in the next batch of acceptance in the towers that service that area of Rancho. I'm in that general area, too, so I'm keeping my eyes peeled.
  15. I think he was referring to someone mentioning Arden. Citrus Heights is with the Folsom/Rancho cluster, I think. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  16. I'll check when I am home in an hour or so. The equipment is running, so possibly. I didn't have anything this morning before I left for work. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  17. I'm still waiting for LTE to come up in south Rancho. I'll map when it does. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  18. Could he possibly get a little bleed over from some of the closer Rancho towers? He's right on the city limit there. I was able to get signal for a goodly ways yesterday when I was watching my signal check pings.
  19. There is awful service in and around the Target shopping center. It should improve. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
