  1. Just downloaded and installed the rooted decrypted ROM and so far this thing is flying. Everything is much faster and the radio is a few dB's better on signal. Now its time to check out the battery life. [emoji2]
  2. Well I can't wait until I flash 5.1 just waiting for a Dev on XDA to release a stock rooted 5.1 ROM with no force encryption.
  3. Thanks for the response. Hopefully the new radio will solve the issue I have in certain areas. Sometimes when connected to LTE my phone hangs at dialing when trying to place a call. Also I miss incoming calls because of this too.
  4. Is that new radio really crappy on Sprint?
  5. I went to the Monster Jam last night and all I can say is Sprints service was amazing. Band 25/26 is slow as expected but band 41 worked flawlessly. My wife's iPhone 5s struggled to load webpages and Instagram while I was able to watch YouTube on band 41 with the Nexus 6. Last time I was at the stadium with my EVO 3D (You can tell it was long ago) I would roam on Verizon in the stadium. I'm glad to see Sprint turned things around.
  6. 2 Lines on a maxed out Framily. Unlimited data on both lines. After taxes, 25% corporate discount and TEP. $116
  7. That Blanding and college site is fully optimized and broadcasts really far to be in the 2.6ghz frequency.
  8. Maybe Samsung is loading up on patents because Samsung is wanting to go main stream with Tizen on their Galaxy devices.
  9. I'd imagine that they would try to acquire nationwide 5x5mhz and it would be used for LTE only being that voLTE is starting to become mainstream. Also the 600mhz spectrum is going to be really expensive so I don't see Sprint buying much when they have loads of 2.5ghz spectrum.
  10. Do any of you Nexus 6 users have issues placing calls in certain locations? I have two places where I have to switch my phone to 3g mode to send and receive calls. It happens like every other day in these select locations.
  11. That's he same area where I would drop LTE with my Nexus 5 when driving to and from Orlando.
  12. I started having these same issues with the Nexus 5 when I upgraded to the newer radios to have access to band 41. With the Nexus 6 in a mature market I don't see anyone having the 3g drop back issues.
  13. I made the switch about two weeks ago. The radio performance is much better. It hangs on to b41 and b26 much better than the nexus 5. With the Nexus 6 I'm on 3g a lot less than with the nexus 5. The LTE scan time is faster than on the Nexus 5 scanning more frequently which means your on 3g less. The battery lasts double if not triple the amount of time as the Nexus 5. If you make the jump to the Nexus 6 you will not regret it.
  14. It's been pretty quiet in this thread lately. How's everyone liking Sprint Jacksonville in 2015?
  15. If Sprint decides to get rid of any spectrum they should offload the spectrum that they are leasing.
  16. With Franco's kernel do you run Franco's default settings or do you tweak them?
  17. I got 4hrs of SOT which is the best I've done. I only had the phone for a week though.
  18. The Sprint band 41 site on on Blanding and College seems to shoot a signal all the way down to Old Jennings Road which is awesome range for the 2500mhz frequency. Which is the best range of any band 41 site I've connected to.
  19. BTW, I'm loving this Nexus 6 it reminds me of when I purchased my Nexus 5. The reception is this thing is awesome. The LTE scan time is great. The only gripe I have is I'm not seeing the 24hr battery life that others are seeing even after I decrypted the device and the most screen on time I've gotten is about 3 and a half hours. Other than that this is the device users need to purchase to see Sprint's real coverage.
