I just saw a crew working on the tower over by 32nd Street and Ave A. I have a feeling we are going to smell B41 soon Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk

Have you guys noticed around Yuma a significant increase in your 3G speeds???? I'm getting above 1Mbs all over town.. 4G still not up there but if you place your phone on CDMA only, you get some great speeds.. Over where I live I'm getting above 2Mbs..

I'm hoping it won't take that long. According to the tech, 2600 should be in Yuma in 3 to 6 months.. I know that's the standard answer, but I'm hopeful

You must be in a good side of town for 4G. I work in "Okie Town" side and all this area has good 4G signal but very slow data speeds. Its at a halt during peak hours.. Sad thing is, Sprint can't see it. they keep saying that the tower is reporting average speeds of 5 to 8 Mbps. I proved them wrong when I talked to Ticket support guy reading engineering numbers and data speed test. After a couple of days of "investigating" the issue, they came to the conclusion that what we got out of that sector was normal.. Bummer..

That whole area is really bad. There is a sector on the tower over by Riley Avenue and 17th Street that is bad or just plain overloaded and Sprint can't see. This is me at 24th Street and Arizona Ave.. Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk

4g has become very unusable in many parts of the city. My phone connects to 3g most of the time now. 4g speeds for me where I work are about. .03Mbps down and .01 up. No explanation from Sprint other than, "sorry that's the way it's going to be". This is one of the better ones today.. Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk

I can assure you that South Yuma County is getting some upgrades. The tower West of Somerton has all the hardware upgraded as of a couple of weeks. It will be soon that it will get accepted ✌. I haven't been further south so I couldn't tell you about Gasden or San Luis Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk

Well they do have a boom working on the antennas and it looked like they were plugging more stuff up there but it was very hard to see. Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk

For the past week, I've been seeing crews working on the already accepted sites here in Yuma. I haven't noticed anything new on the towers and I haven't seen anything different with the signals. Anyone have an idea of what they might be doing? Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk

If your surrounded by accepted sites, that is the way it's going to be. I'm having the same issue here in Yuma, LTE is very weak and spotty; very rare I get a connection indoors. Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk

Sorry to burst the bubble. The crews are working on the at&t top rack. That psych pass been 3g accepted with new NV panels for over a month. The bottom rack where the cres are working are the Sprint's NV panels. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk

Sounds like it's time to contact Google Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk

AT&T is very active in Yuma. They are working in a few towers simultaneously, including the one on Riley Ave. They have crews on that one, I8 and 10E, San Luis AZ, Gadsden, Somerton Ave and Co 12 1/2, and Ave C and 8th Street. Maybe that's why Sprint don't have anyone working locally, AT&T has them all employed. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk

they are probably doing the swap for the cabinets and fiber optic lines

Yup, that's the one Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk

If its the one right across the street from that shopping center, then yes it is. Should be just on the other south side of the street on 40th street. There are two carriers on that site. Top one is At&t bottom one is Sprint.
-
If its the one located on 3E and 40th. Sprint is located on the second tier; the top one is At&t. If the crews are working on the second tier, they might be making final adjustments to the antennas to go live. Same thing happened to the one on Atlantic Ave before it went live. The crews were adjusting the location of the antennas, then about a couple days later the site went live.
