Things might not be getting accepted here in Yuma, but I'm very sure they are being worked on. Yesterday EVDO was fluctuating all day and the ability to make voice calls were tough. Got a screen capture of signal check app while I was in front of the Ave B and 20th Street tower. Second screen shot shows the speeds today. I'm very happy with it. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 4

Actually, Ehrpd does not mean that the equipment is there or that a tower is upgraded with NV equipment. Ehrpd is software on the servers for handouts from LTE to non LTE. I believe it came after the Verizon fiasco of loosing calls when they started their LTE transition.

Yes, the tower by 8E and 32nd Street appears to be functioning at half power. I swung by there a few minutes ago and noticed my signal was very low next to the tower. However, there was a truck inside the lot working on something. Didn't get to see who it was. I'm just hoping it's Ericson Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 4

I would have to say that now it's Sprint (integration team) delay. After speaking with my friend here in Yuma and after them finishing up at the Ave B and 20th site.. Now its a waiting game for them.

There's only 2 good consistent towers in Yuma, the one by the Mall at Atlantic Ave, and the one at Kofa, the southwest and North West sectors of the Kofa tower. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 4

I really am trying to be optimistic about this. Looks like they are actively working on towers again. I set a date of end of Sept to start seeing LTE here if not I would move on. This gives me hope that it will happen sooner than that. right now, signal out of that tower where they were working off of Ave B and 20th street is very low. Voice calls are digitized and cutting out. I passed by there again and there was no one around.

I went by the same tower I stopped by on Wed where the Century Link guys were working on. There was a contractor there today installing fiber line. I spoke with them for a bit and asked them what towers they had to work on. He said the one where they were at (20th Street and Ave B.) and the one on Atlantic Ave. That's the one over by the mall. He said there was a third but did not remember the address. Things are starting to look better down here.
