  1. The leaked document says EXISTING customers can get 2 year contracts on a "reactive basis" only. What does this mean? I pay $200 for 4 smartphones for UNLIMITED everything. I can not for the life of me see any non 2 year plan that comes close. Currently it costs me: 200 x 24 monthly plan 200 x 4 4 upgrades 39 x 4 4 activations 5,600 4 year total That's 58.33 per month per device for UNLIMITED Figure a typical payment to purchase is $35 my plan portion is just $23/month. So just how are one of the new plans suppose to be better for me? I don't see it. J As of this morning (Saturday) I can still add a line to my account with a 2 year contract. Fingers crossed.
  2. I submitted a complaint ticket to the FCC. Sprint has admitted there is an error in their Billing system. I am waiting for the official response from Sprint from the FCC. I think the billing system isn't interpreting the forwarding bit in the CDR metadata correctly. J
  3. How can Sprint justify charging me for call forwarding just for receiving a call forwarded from my ATT landline. This makes no sense. I do NOT have Sprint call forwarding of any kind enabled. I forwarded my ATT Landline to my Sprint cell phone and when I get an incoming forwarded call Sprint is charging me $0.20 per minute. If anyone should be charging me anything it's ATT but they are not but Sprint is. Any insight appreciated. J
  4. Hello, In what ways if any does the iPhone 6s better support Sprint's Carrier Aggregation compared to the iPhone 6? 20x20 Band 41 ?? Perhaps? ?? Any insight most appreciated. Thanks in advance, J
  5. OK I admit I've had one since early June. All in all I like it. I use it for notifications of messages, email and news apps. Saves using the iPhone and the iPhone battery life is much greater as a result. In addition to ApplePay I also like Shazam which is much easier to use than on the iPhone. I do look forward it Apple Watch OS2 and native apps. I think that will really open up it's capabilities. I have the Stainless 42mm version. I had the Classic Buckle but swapped it for Black Leather Loop as it offers finer size adjustment. Bottom line for me is "Thumbs Up".
  6. OK I found your post here that explains it. http://s4gru.com/index.php?/blog/1/entry-374-and-the-band-41-marches-onin-the-new-iphone-6-and-iphone-6-plus-for-sprint/ So if I understand it correctly Sprint's LTE Advanced Carrier Aggregation is ONLY Band 41 and ONLY 20Mhz channels. J
  7. Hello, Sprint just announced a new LTE Advanced implementation in Chicagoland. Chicago already is a Spark enabled area so I wonder just what LTE Advanced offers over and above Spark? Also and possibly more important to me is will my iPhone 6+ exploit any LTE Advanced functions? In otherwords should I expect any improvements with LTE Advanced and if yes what? Thanks in advance, J
  8. I can confirm. I knew something was strange when I got 20+ duplicate SMS messages from Google Calendar when I should have only gotten two. I figured Google or Sprint was having an issue. I can not make outgoing voice calls. Incoming calls go direct to VM. SMS seems useable and Data seems fine. I'm in a near north Chicago suburb. J
  9. I've had my iPhone 5 for a few weeks and I too have the disappearing LTE issue. I've tried all the fixes mentioned above and I still find my phone in 3G when I know there is an LTE tower a few blocks away. It is an annoyance. If I notice it I just turn cellular off and on and 99% of the time LTE pops back on. IMO it's an iPhone issue. I have a iPad on Verizon LTE and notice it looses LTE occasionally as well. So maybe in some way it's just the nature of LTE?
  10. I have no clue what some of you might be paying now to think these plans will save you money. I have 4 lines (1500 minute unlimited data, any mobile, unlimited text) now. With free to any 3 on all the lines, 6PM nights and weekends on all the lines I rarely use more than 100 anytime minutes in any given month. Converting to the new pricing scheme would cost me a minimum of $100/mo more per month. Do the math. And the 100MB/mo off network limit would be a problem when traveling. J
