  1. even more suspicious is that there's a couple more poking up that're to the right of those.
  2. I had countless problems with this thing. I had 5 different ones from sprint and I ultimately got one more, sold it on ebay and bought an s3 outright.
  3. I have pics of what I think is the tower on main and sutter st in stockton (see post in sponsors forum for tower ID and GPS location) http://bit.ly/16vgnql can anyone confirm that this is correct? I just noticed these devices on the sides of the building recently and they look like sprints but I can't really tell. it appears that the hardware is located on top of a building. I may even be able to get to the roof of this place for reasons I won't get in to here, but I'll be looking in to that soon.
  4. Holy Sheet that's fast!! I'm so stoked for this upgrade.. I'm biting my nails waiting for them to flip the switch in my area.
  5. sweeet! I'm thinking between the lower sac and sacramento st towers I should have excellent coverage when they hit the switch.
  6. Agreed.. I love their speeds, but whats the point if you're going to use it up in <a week?
  7. I have some more photos of the site at beckman here: http://bit.ly/13PwjmV in regards to the Stockton stuff, I've been in contact with that division for some time now and they don't seem to understand what I was looking for..they kept asking me to be more and more specific and I couldn't figure out how to be more specific than either all building permits that I would sort through, or all permits done to cell towers with FCC IDs provided. How far east? Like I said, I'm trying to take my mid off some things so it might be worth the drive. Besides, this tower hunting is pretty fun Epic!! I'll snap some shots of that one tomorrow evening.
  8. okay so I was able to upload these before I got home lol here's the one from East Pine st, lodi ca: http://bit.ly/12RSlbN and beckman rd, lodi ca: http://bit.ly/11LpCz9 I'm pretty sure the brown one is not the right tower, but I snapped some pics of it just in case since it was pretty darn close to the other tower and appeared to be at the same address. That's as close as I felt comfortable getting to this tower since it was pretty far back on someone's vineyard and I wasn't feeling particularly That still leaves Lower sacramento rd and I think one out in woodbridge.. I might be able to snap those tomorrow, and if either of these are too blurry to tell whats on them for sure I can snap these ones again with a better camera. I'm trying to take my mind off things after work and this is helping out a lot, so I'll be cruising around looking for sites these next few days. If there are any not too out of the way in stockton, I'll snap some of those as well.. I'll have to check the map tonight
  9. I snapped some pics of the sites on beckman rd, lodi ca and e pine st, lodi ca. I'll be uploading them when I get home tonight. The pine street ones look promising, but the Beckman rd tower was too far back on someone's property to see it really well. The panels on that tower were the thin legacy-looking ones, but there could have been some NV ones too. I'll have to head back out with some binoculars or my girlfriend's camera. That one has some optical zoom and I might be able to get just close enough to make out the panels.
  10. heheheh I've seen those but I haven't found anything to compare it against. Do we have a thread/links to images of pre-nv hardware?
  11. Sweeeeet!!! I was looking up at them thinking, "those can't be that old, they almost look shiny!" haha. This place is pretty small so I'll go around to the other cell sites nearby and snap some pics. Sacramento st, lodi ca
  12. YESSSS That's awesome! oh, I snapped some pics of the correct tower on sacramento st the other day.. any experts care to brief me on what's on this tower? http://bit.ly/11Ksyf6
  13. ahh, I was close lol. I happened to be driving by and though I had the right one. I'll snap some pics of the correct one tomorrow if I can.
  14. I'm almost certain this is a sprint tower. It's located at 216 s sacramento st, lodi ca I'm not sure what work, if anything, has been done on it, but I figured I'd share these photos for analysis since the permit has been applied for.. Well, I think it's this tower, it may be another one close by. Can anyone confirm? http://s1292.photobucket.com/user/j0hnnyCache/library/ Quality is not that great, but should be okay for a quick look
  15. I notice that this permit lists a few extras compared to the ones issued in Lodi... does this mean that the tower you posted is just a higher volume (which I'm sure it is) or that the ones in Lodi will not be LTE? I guess a better question would be... How do we know that an upgrade is going to be for LTE and not general network improvement like better 3g?
  16. Preach I was almost certain the rep's answer was BS. Made no sense.
  17. sweet.. I'll keep it on LTE/CDMA unless the data issues return.. & I'll keep cruising around here, like normal
  18. Maybe it's a conspiracy to make sure users use less mobile data across nv sites haha
  19. @marv - I've heard some bullshipoopoo in my day but that's terrible!!
  20. Makes sense, I've been seeing way better 3g speeds all around me.
