  1. hmmm... I like to see my thoughts confirmed I will point out though, I have not had the problem since. Also, the code 600 connection error they had no documentation on disappeared, as did the "invalid username and password" message box. lol that was on thing I did check.. though I rarely turn it off, if ever.
  2. That's what I thought... Thanks for the confirmation. I'll be subbing to that thread today, I've been keeping a close eye on everything else so far Thanks!
  3. I've searched the forums a bit but was not able to find an answer to this.. A little backstory.. I was advised by a sprint rep to leave my S3's preferred network mode on LTE / CDMA so I can get an LTE signal once it's live in our area. Everything was working great until recently, I've been having random issues connecting to data. SMS, and calls were flawless. So I called up sprint and they did their refreshes and whatnot to no avail. Got to tier two and they recommended that I go to Settings > Wireless and networks > Network mode and turn the network mode to CDMA only. The rep advised me that I'll still get LTE with this setting once it's live in my area. She also advised me that engineers will send out a SMS letting us know when LTE is live. Can anyone confirm these please? I'm stoked to get LTE and I don't want to miss the launch. Based on the timing of the permits, I'm guessing (total stab in the dark here) the connection problems I've had recently could have something to do with tower upgrades around me, which makes me excited
  4. There's some months where I peak at about 15GBs... I'd rather have a small amount of throttling after 5-10gb then having a cap. Most months I'm around 3-6GB so I could live with it i guess.
  5. Anxious for LTE in the UCV

  6. Who's had some hands-on experience with the Samsung's newest phone? #GalaxyS4

  7. Still anxious for lodi/stockton.. My buddy just sent me a speedtest from the bay.. 15/3 50ms ping. SO STOKED. I finally won't mind paying what I do for cell service.

  9. so ive noticed..I was shocked when I finally started getting signal in brick/large buildings...that rarely happened with my s2.

  11. My lucky day if it was. haha Thanks for the tips, I'll cruise around this week and hunt them down. I wonder.. since samsung is doing the hardware, will their devices have a small edge on others?
  12. aaagghh... I was hoping to have LTE in time for my birthday, but I guess I can settle for a bunch of beers and them maybe starting LTE I'm going to check Lodi/stockton's sites for those permits, and if not I can at least stop by Stockton's since I work downtown.. the place I need to go can't be far from here. Where would I need to go to get them? There's a ton of county building on this block but idk where to start. I'll gladly share any info I find, unless someone's already done some digging I think this is a good enough reason to go. Ramen, sake, and LTE? Sign me up!
  13. How do you find this stuff? haha. Are the timelines mentioned earlier accurate then? Thanks for the tip, I'll have to come up with an excuse to head to midtown soon I've started to notice more and more cell towers as I drive around... I've even gone out of my way several times to get a closer look at them. Pretty interesting tech up there.
  14. I'm a hair away from jumping ship to Metro or something... but LTE is soooo close I used to use 1-3GB/mo in cell data alone when I had my e4gt, so dialup speeds are crippling, but I've read on here and heard from friends that travel to the bay a lot that the wait is worth it..speeds out there are fantastic. Have you heard of any more work in our market at least?
  15. I'm loving all the great information on this thread, btw. I've been following it rather closely since I found it.. I think it's been contributing to my anxiousness, though
  16. I sure hope so... I'm down in stockton and speeds have been getting progressively worse over the past month. I used to get .5-1.25Mbps down/up but now I'll be lucky to get much higher than .2 Mbps down/up EDIT: My signal strength has always been fantastic, full bars almost everywhere..And here at work, I'm on the 4th floor of a 5 story building, so that helps too I think. I'm getting overly anxious for LTE to hit us
