  2. When I used to run a forum few years, I had a system were you couldn't post right after another. It helps a lot with bots who would spam within seconds of each other. It was setup to 30 secs. Not sure if IP Board has a feature where you can do it till someone reaches a certain amount of post, and the rule doesn't apply.

  3. Both times I have talked to Sprint about this issue, CS has told me it is because involving NV, also saying I should have LTE a week ago. My theory is maybe on "their side", the see upgrades/NV/LTE, but with all of the backhaul issues nothing has physically been accepted.

I wouldn't waste your time with CS with LTE news. They don't give you reliable information as they don't have access to it.

  4. It's pretty easy to get your MSL via chat as well. Occasionally you do have to try more than once, but if you go through the chat link inside of your account page, they give it right away. It should be enough to just say you would like it to keep in your records.

I've always go that route without any problems, but today all the sudden they no longer have access to that information and want you to call tech support, which they even said they won't give it out. Might be a hit and miss now with some reps, some might not have read the memo yet? But who knows....

Also if you activate a sprint phone online they give you the msl on the confirmation page so in the future remember to write it down if you go that route

Only if they activation goes right. Last three times (two Nexus phones and a G4) they wanted me to open chat, so no way of getting it.

  5. Okay first, do you have your MSL?  If not, yes you do have to call Sprint to get it.  Just tell them you are an application developer and need it to access low-level variables.  (They usually don't ask questions after that).

Got it now! After calling and calling got someone who didn't even ask me why. The other said its because I was under contract and that its a policy that's been going on for over 4 years.

  6. So after my experience at the Sprint store it got me thinking. The tech wouldn't give me a SIM without having my phone there so he could activate. He won't be able to lock my phone down, right? Do the nexus 5's sold from Sprint on contract come unlocked for gsm use?

Which Sprint store you go to? If possible go to the one in Rio Rancho.
