  1. Sitting in the airport right now, terrible signal strength. Was so excited as did have an LTE connection while rolling up Sunport Blvd, but it all but disappeared by the time I cleared security. Is the airport structure a faraday cage like the average stucco home? I guess so, but you'd think all the big windows would let something through.

    Yup I hear what you mean. Its spotty even on the ramp for myself. But I don't expect it to be at full strength till more towers become live and overlap each other.

  2. I got this text msg from Sprint today:

     

    "SprintFreeMsg: Your Visual Voicemail account is being upgraded. After 04/02, please call in to voicemail to record your new greeting and reset your passcode."

     

    Anybody know why this is happening? Is it due to some sort of upgrade to the voicemail system?

  3. So, I was just on the phone with Sprint tech support about the Spark update.  She put me on hold and came back stating that the update was available beginning March 10th? She said the software build number is KOT49Y.  She said it should be push to our phones, but if it didn't to go in and manually update.

     

    Thoughts? 

    Currently build is KOT49H. Sure you didn't hear a H instead? Because everything matches up besides the Y and they don't just change one letter for the build.

    I drove to a Non-Corporate Sprint store in Broomfield and tried to trade phones with another person on Sprint.  Both of us have active accounts and no problems with the ESN's on our phones.  The Broomfield store told us we needed to go to a Corporate store in order to get our phones switched. 
     
    So we arrive at the Corporate store.  We tell the person what our plan was and he thinks about it for a second. Then tells us that the store doesn't do that anymore.  I tell him the other Sprint store told us we had to go to a corporate store and use a dummy ESN to do it.  The guy replies " We aren't going to do that.  " So I go out side and call Sprint and they tell me the Corporate store should have no problem doing it.  The guy in the store still refused to switch our phones.  So I lost out on the trade because they want me to buy a new phone and not trade.  

     

    That could be because he wanted you guys to buy a phone or he's just too lazy. There wasn't anyone else there that you could have asked? Should have also done was have the Sprint Customer Service Agent talk to that person.
