  1. Going to refresh everyone. If you're using SignalCheck you are shown the SID and NID of the site you are connected to. SID 4418 is PCS SID 22442 is 800 1xA At least in central Ohio. NID 35 is legacy. NID 214 is Network Vision. Again, at least in central Ohio. A few sites south and east vary a little bit. What we need to track the BID numbers is one of the three sectors and the site location. A SignalCheck screenshot is great. The hunters have developed other ways of logging, those are fine too. As long as we can deduce the actual site from the logged data. Happy hunting!
  2. Sooooo ladies. Anybody notice anything today? NOBODY!?!?!?!? Cluster launch with no fizzle. Must be no Sprint customers left in that area. So when y'all figure it out, start posting screen shots. We need 1X engineering screen shots and it would be really helpful for us Spreadsheet helpers if you'd also post a SCP shot. We would also like the BID's. Thank you!!! PS: Figure it out fast because James will be hot looking for LTE scores and we would like to keep him pinned down. Expect LTE in a few days. PPS: If you're not a sponsor why don't you become one? Sponsors are notified to the specific sites that go live. This site has helped us all vent. Donate $20 and get in.
  3. What issues do you speak of? The only issue I have is A2DP which has been an Android problem for maybe a couple years. I dig this phone. On stock I leave it in data centric, grab B41 or B25 LTE wherever it's at, stream music, surf, whatever. If somebody calls me it's no different than what my service has been on my S3 in our Motorola market, it doesn't ring. I've gotten used to it, my family and friends have too, we just text on Google voice. My only complaint is about the battery life and I'm very certain that KK will address that nicely. After spending the last 10 days on Liquidsmooth ROM, KK will be a great addition for this phone. The only thing bringing me back from LS is the reboots are happening a lot.
  4. I had this once. Any calls I made also were treated as if I was an unsubscribed prepay user. ##72786# fixed it up. Although I've been cautioned to avoid doing that more than once during a 3-4 hour window. I am the king of glitchy happenings unfortunately.
  5. Saw them too. I thought it was a couple forum guys sniffing around.
  6. They SURELY couldn't make it work any less...
  7. So who's POV's are at Broad/Reyn_NA? You best be getting pics.
  8. Why not just set up your own WiFi calling using a SIP client? I can even use it while driving on LTE. If I wanted. The 4.4.2 used to build AOSP doesn't have WiFi calling so I'm going to take a guess and say it's not included unless it's a LG feature.
  9. I forgot battery life is very nice with the f87 kernel. I think that's the name, ends with 87. I had 18 hours the other day before it went on the charger but still had I think 35% remaining at that point??? I'm anxious to try the official but rooted LG 4.4.2.
  10. Liquidsmooth was AOSP. The latest download on 3/18 patched a couple things. Works really well except for an occasional reboot and continued A2DP headaches.
  11. Explains about you and all that fiber work.
  12. Laufer Rd site. No RRH as of this weekend but cabs as of last weekend. https://www.dropbox.com/s/cupul3dduuvl2we/2014-03-16%2017.49.06.jpg https://www.dropbox.com/s/j5py9pl5nm923hh/2014-03-16%2017.48.51.jpg
  13. There are and will be many ongoing projects by sprint to increase signal density in locations where time made it difficult to do a regular build. I can identify with your frustration. I live in a NV area and yet have to use an airave. The tower near me has to normal NV antennas and one narrowband antenna. The area I live in is in a wedge of poor service because of the narrowband antenna. Am I upset? Yes. Have I voiced my concerns to Sprint? Yes. Will they change it? Nope. I have to accept it. It does not stop me from complaining to Sprint about it and getting discounts though. Sprint is not AT&T either. They are a #3 or #4 carrier at the moment. If you want full coverage everywhere, maybe you should look at AT&T? I have but here I am.
  14. Site Information. Just trying to clear up some misconceptions and I'm not going to say I'm right. Typical Samsung NV site in our region: Hi-Cap configuration: Thoughts? Comments?
  15. Can you imagine the advertising fun Verizon and AT&T will have with this? "Hey T-Mobile customers (former Sprint customers), we're back!". It NOW becomes apparent why TMO has gone no contract, once Sprint takes over TMO, all them former Sprint customers are gonna go looking elsewhere. I see merging the two networks like this, generally speaking. Sprint has good coverage in Urban areas and poor coverage in Rural areas. TMO has great service in Urban areas and no service in Rural areas. Merge the two together and you'll have great coverage in Urban areas and poor coverage in Rural areas. Still less than Verizon and AT&T. I'm not seeing the benefit yet, that is all technology aside. So what about roaming? This is how TMO customers survive the no coverage areas, roaming on AT&T. So how exactly is that going to work out? I bet not. Sprint has yet to address the expansion of their footprint. They're trying to do it without adding more sites. That's great to a point. It doesn't address the users who live or operate where there is minuscule Sprint footprint anyways. Adding TMO is not going to help this. AT&T builds a brand new tower smack in the middle of a Rural area, loads it up with 3 antennas per sector like Woodstock 24/7 was coming and moves on to the next. Until Sprint expands their footprint they will always be last no matter how much technology they have.
  16. By my count, it seems like two sites holding up a section launch, two maybe plus a stealth site holding up another section launch, two sites holding up another section launch. Then several holes to fill in for two more launches and a large area to be completed to finish up Columbus metro area. So close... Talk about being obscure!!!
  17. F*ck! Can we have different color backgrounds for the different zones?
  18. Yours is Morse/Reyn-NA. His is Broad/Reyn-NA where Andy posted pics in chat. Notice the cultivated back yards to the right in his picture?
  19. Something new? 310-410 isnt even listed in ifast. Just curious.
  20. I see Guysville but the data is zeroed out. The Nelsonville site, is it the one in Nelsonville 034 or the one to the west 040?
  21. Was he kung fu fighting though? It only exists in my mind.
  22. The PRL's are distributed nationwide instead of on a regional basis. Most times they don't affect us and it is because of changing roaming contracts with other carriers. Instead of having regional PRL's to manage, it's easier to just do a few sets. The latest changes removed a couple carriers from our region, both went out of business. It's discussed in one of the open threads I believe.
  23. Might be a site we know if but has incomplete PCI info. Certain people and their sloppy hunting habits. I have my guess which site it is.
  24. I went through and added all of the NV sites with data in the previous two pages. I did not put in the ID's for the legacy sites as those WILL change once launched. We also had chat discussion about how to list them in the spreadsheet and are listing them with the hex ID not the decimal. SCP shows the hex value anyways and it is very easy at that point to enter all three sectors or more if a high capacity site is discovered.
