  1. SVLTE is fine with me at this point although my Note 2 and SGS3 both had an active data connection while on the phone in a 3g area. So who knows
  2. I have a case, it just was not in it at the time (for once) and that is when bad things tend to happen. The only reason it wasn't in a case is because my gorilla gadgets extended battery covered decided to shit the bed on me 2 days after purchase (broken/bent microusb); I really should contact them for a replacement/refund. I failed to put it in my case the moment I took it out of there. Sadly, when you aren't used to the device without a case you forget how slippery it can actually be.
  3. I still think the overall design is more reminiscent of the Note 2 than it is of the S3.
  4. AAAAH! My poor Note 2 took a swan dive today and is completely shattered!! The insurance deductible is now $200 in case anyone has need of it in the future. The worse part about it, is that due to the popularity of the device, they are backordered and it will take 5 business days for a replacement?!
  5. I wish they would stop throwing a damn S in front of every random (or should I say relabeled/re-branded) feature! Hopefully the Note 3 will come in some uber special translucent edition, that would be just tits

  10. They most certainly average the coverage depicted over time. I have seen some major adjustments in signal strength over the course of days where LTE was no longer active or very weak and Sensorly remapped the affected areas with a proper signal strength and in some places removed them completely. Of course I always leave an active sensorly mapping session open when i am out of the house, so maybe they get a much better indicator of those areas I frequent.

  15. themffinman is on to something there. I have several myself, one primarily for work and the other for personal... but they are more or less interchangeable. if work paid for mine i would have another, but it is great to have a spare device when the unfortunate happens.. whether a dead battery, charger, coverage issues, multitasking (as above) or countless other use case scenarios
