I pre-ordered a pixel 6 and it arrived today. Will charge it up and begin the migration process this weekend.

I did the upgrade with ED1500 online for preorder. Didn't have any affect on plan.

My mom's phone arrives tomorrow and shipped yesterday from Kentucky.

I did the trade in of the 7 for my mom with $300 off. Her screen is cracked and the offer says nothing about the phone being in good condition. Plus they offered $300 loyalty credit so overall $20/mo in bill credits ($600 total) was an easy decision.

Are you suggesting that Sprint was attempting to build a network with champagne taste but on a decidedly beer budget? 😂
I'm envisioning the others carriers raising their flutes to toast with champagne and sprint with coors banquet

See list of devices.
If you're lucky and your old device gets sent to tmobile and they enable it on it then yes. On the old sprint network it's a no.

Thanx Tim. I was afraid that would be the answer. Thinking back in it, at this point why would they bother on improving the network they are ripping out and trying to get people to leave.

Is a software update required for older phones to activate, such as HTC U11? There is no toggle in the settings that I can see.

You're killing me smalls. Can't u just let us have a few more months of sprint pride before tmo sticks a fork in it.

Translation: Sprint is still faster than Tmo

I'm waiting for some good deals on other 5g handsets, like oneplus 8 series, to incentive us to jump ship. I ain't doing it though for a Samsung device, that's for sure.

Anyone considering getting either of the 8 series?

Anyone know what's happening to Saw? Does it make sense to have 2 CTO's either in the short term or long term?

Whether u are for or against the merger, I think we can be happy about the fact that there are no other roadblocks from this chapter ending and a new one to begin. Hopefully it bears improvements for all, but given the industry there will always be dissent. Instead of blaming individual states/groups for delays, can we just move forward to what brought us all here, talking about new tech, network integration, upgrades, rollout plans, etc.?

Do u know for a fact they haven't received some concessions already, and are negotiating further?

I can see that on the short term with ideal pricing and terms, but not in the long term. Unless maybe Dish will build their own network from the ground up. Is that likely? I can't imagine DOJ would be that short sighted.
-
Someone please help me understand how Dish spectrum hosted by the New T-Mobile network will lead to increased competition in the industry. I'm failing to recognize how they can charge substantially less for the same network, unless they cut profits or add debt, which doesn't seem sustainable.

Picked up one of these for my wife due to the large service credit to upgrade and the discount from best buy. So far so good. VoLTE was even available in the settings, just needed to be toggled.

5G is now included in the legend. Very interesting indeed.
