I realize with my writing, I may be overusing commas when I'm unsure and unaware of whether or not there ought to be one. I apologize to anyone who may be annoyed by my usage of commas as often I use them for that reason.
I used to be the same until my college english professor helped me out. Here are a couple of tips about commas. When punctuating just think about the person reading the sentence. Commas should be used every time the reader breathes or you want them to pause while reading reading the sentence. In addition, if a sentence is very long (you can't finish it on 1 breathe) and there is no place for a comma, split the thought into 2 sentences.

More than fine with it. If a person can't afford data, then maybe switch down to call and text only plan. Afterall, wireless isn't a necessity, it's a luxury.
I also wouldn't call it "hostage" either. They're more than welcome to not service the area. There's a reason why communities with strict zoning laws exist. Some people want to live in cookie cutter houses and will pay the premium to do so. They have every right to demand that their neighborhoods be kept a certain way. Anyone that doesn't like it shouldn't move to those neighborhoods.
I personally don't like homeowner associations, which is why I choose to live in an area without one. But I also respect the right of people who choose to live in an area with one.
I've seen both sides of this story and like the HOA my mom's house is in. Hers costs less than $100 per year and the main purpose is to keep up the value of the homes up. For example, front yards have to be maintained, house exteriors have to be kept up, setback requirements are enforced, etc. Subsequently her neighborhood is one of the most desirable in the city which results in high property values. I think communities should focus on the same things when it come to zoning and permitting. For example in the Bay Area as home prices increased people sprawled towards the Central Valley. City's like Tracy were growing so fast that the city couldn't keep up with roadways, water, sewage and other infrastructure. Crowding was getting so bad the city stopped allowing additional homes to be built. They were responsible and did what was needed for their community to maintain value. That same approach should be used when communities evaluate whether they should interfere or not. Unfortunately many communities see the process as a way to generate additional money, via fees and taxes, without adding much value.

I hope I don't regret cancelling my order for the HTC U11. It really looks like a great device, though I wanted to have the shipping stopped on it before it got sent out, as I changed my mind for the Sony Xperia XZ Premium, due to my likely getting the Sony Z9D television. The Sony XZ Premium has the advantage of a 4k Triluminos display, while the HTC U11 has the advantage of better audio and wider network capability within the U.S. This also means my staying with T-Mobile.
Anyways, I'm still impressed by HTC for making a very beautiful looking device in the HTC U11. The Sapphire Blue especially.
I regret u cancelling your order. This phone is incredible.

Mine arrived today as well. The blue is really shiny. Did anyone order it in black?
I got the black. It looks good, but I think the blue was probably a better choice. I may try to change out at store, but if they charge a restocking fee I'll keep it. Love the phone though. Fast as hell, especially when updating apps.

It feels like a sin to hide something so beautiful. Yeah I'm hoping the shade of green on the black is one I like. My main concern on the case is that the edge extends past the top of the screen. I know the gorilla glass is strong and all, but I'd prefer it not rubbing on surfaces when upside down.

I was thinking about selling the Echo dots too but seeing as how the lack of headphone jack is gonna force me to start transitioning over to bluetooth streaming, I figured I'd at least try using an Echo dot to hook it up to my speakers and stream music from my phone to them. Hoping it works.
I love the abilities of the devices, but can't get past the privacy concerns of something listening to everything said.

Ok, just to be on the safe side, we probably stop the political discussion on this thread, because we don't want it to devolve into a horrible fight on here. Yes, we all disagree on certain aspects of this election, but only time will tell what a Republicican majority FCC will do. It certainly won't happen until the next FCC appointment occurs, which is still over half a year away.
And frankly, I'm hoping there will never be a merger between Sprint & T-Mobile.

Thanks Josh for moderating. My main point wasn't to point fingers, but instead to say don't expect lots of quick changes. The president and Congress still have to follow procedures and rules. At my company the red tape can be horrible, but I can't even imagine how much red tape a government agency has to deal with.

Well, after a few days break from wireless reading, i'm back online and to report I have my device situation resolved now with the Axon 7 I won in a contest that is working quite well for me.
Also, as some here may figure, the election results have me even more convinced that mergers in the wireless industry are a prime thing now, as I have no doubt of it. With both the House and Senate being Republican, along with Trump already choosing corporate executives to key positions, well "exploratory names", I'm almost willing to bet the next few years are going to be filled with mergers and acquisitions. I doubt T-Mobile and Sprint will be allowed to merge under Softbank, due to the foreign issue. but perhaps T-Mobile acquiring Sprint, or heck my main wish in wireless mergers that AT&T has a successful second attempt at T-Mobile. It'll be interesting what happens with all of this...
The Republican members of the House and Senate have spent a majority of the last 8 years obstructing law creation. I'm not convinced they even remember how to. That coupled with a president who has zero experience writing laws and a Congress who is only willing to tolerate him. In summary, there is very little to show that much will happen quickly.

If you haven't already read. Mo Versi tweeted the target for an update on sprint m8's is mid-week. Although he didn't post technical acceptance yet. We shall hear more in the next few days.

Just wait until magenta users go full binge on! Their performance will be totally lopsided.
Never go full binge on!

Looks like Robert will be taking more suitors to sponsor the shutdown clock for the next 90 days.

I didn't see a write up on the wall for this phone yet. Realizing it hasn't been released, are there any early indications of the radio performance on the sprint network?

I went to the mountains last weekend where previously on my m8 I used to roam on Verizon for voice and 3g data. This time no connection. However, my wife's bolt roamed without a problem.
