  1. Cool picked up my first 800mhz signal today.. Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk 4
  2. Yup its been up and running for a few weeks Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk 4
  3. Looks like active LTE downtown Cleveland - shows on sensorly along Ontario between Superior and Carnegie.... Tower perhaps is located east of Ontario
  4. Getting some crazy distances.. I picked up the Northfield/Warrensville tower today for a few seconds at the Transportation Ave bridge!
  5. Okay.. now I got a question.. I"m sure it's been asked someplace, but I just can't find it.. Is there any way for Signal Check Pro to generate a log of LTE connections, which will keep track of the serving cell, as well as other data which may be good to have when trying to figure out which cell you connect to?
  6. Yup a couple of us have done a little sensorly mapping over there.. For some reason there isn't any signal north of the tower, but there is east, south and west of the tower.. Lol daughter was at a party on case road the other night and she texted me "something wrong with phone.. Says LTE instead of 3G". Lol
  7. I am able to pickup a signal from my 3rd floor office in Beachwood... you can see my purple circle on Sensorly.. 23215 commerce Park.. Serving Cell is 08212A00... if anybody picks a strong signal from that cell, perhaps we can determine exactly where the tower is. The signal appears to be strongest from the Northeast corner of the building, I have no access to the south side of the building but as I move further away from the Northeast to more north, the signal goes from -108db to -130db... I originally thought that I was picking up the Northfield tower, but that is south of me so perhaps I'm not...
  8. Is there any way to block a tower within the PRL? I'm literally directly in the middle of 2 towers at home, both having nearly the same signal strength.. I can sit in a stationary position and watch my phone bounce back and forth between towers.. They don't always hand off nicely and we drop calls.. No big deal now because I put an Airave in.. But when 800smr gets here I'de like to dump the Airave but don't want the 2 fighting for my service.
  9. I noticed that.. luckly though, Sensorly doesn't see an active 4g connection... Signalcheck is cool... I bought it yesterday. I like that I can access the radio settings screen without having to type in *#*#4636#*#*. I especially like that I can see the physical address of the CDMA tower I'm connected to.. Great job on the app... Definitely worth the buck99. Am i correct in thinking that CDMA can be from one tower while LTE is from a different tower? If so, is there any way to show the physical address of the LTE tower?
  10. When I am in LTE only mode, on my HTC one, even though CDMA and EVDO is turned off, sensorly still records the 2g/3g data points.. but the phone does not try to connect to 3g... I have found that sprint's LTE does not appear to be the priority over 3g.. I saw this time and time again on a recent trip from Ohio to Florida.. driving through Georga was the most noticeable, where 4g was great according to sensorly, but it still dropped down to 3g. Isn't LTE,CDMA either LTE or 1x I thought EVDO was 3g.. It also appears that the signal strenth meter on the phone is for CDMA and EVDO, and has no read on LTE whatsoever.. Signal check pro made me realize that. boy i'm all over the place...
  11. Hmm.. did a bunch of mapping in LTE only mode this week, and it did not leave a grey trail when I didn't have an LTE signal..
  12. today at 4:15 Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk 2
  13. FYI 51096 is out..just got it on my I5
  14. I have found that 8x8 voip test to be junk, and a very unreliable test site. http://www.whichvoip.com/voip/speed_test/ppspeed.html is much better. Also, if you can not get your airave to go all green, there may be a problem with the device. I just had to replace mine with a new one.. The first replacement they sent would not work, and they ended up sending me a 2nd one which worked fine.
  15. Definitely have seen a huge increase in dropped calls. I have gone from none since I started with sprint 11 years ago, until the past month dropping calls nearly every day! My daily travels bring me from North Ridgeville to Beachwood to Middleburg Hts, etc. I have been dropping calls all over the place.. It started when I got my Galaxy Nexus, so that it where I thought the problem lied.. returned it and preordered an Evo 4GLTE, but I continue to drop calls on the Sprint PixiPlus I've been carrying for the past week.
