Ahh.. you see the forum where I told the sprint rep Carlos he should be fired! lol -
I just drove to work for the first time with my N5 and sadly NO LTE the entire way, and the towers I hit which have LTE are Olmsted Township, Lindale, Brooklyn Heights (Brookpark Road) and Northfield... Galaxy tab 3 connected to every one, and sadly, N5 Connected to NONE!.. I Hate non-incumbent market :-(

Had to see it for my self... Went and sat under the Tower at Cook & Finch in Olmsted Falls, Ohio (only reported as 4G accepted).. Absolutly NO 4g whatsoever, while my Tab 3 got full 4g signal.. Airplane mode on my N5 resulted on connecting back to 3G.. didn't appear to even see the LTE.. I then disabled band 26 and 41, and set the priority back to stock.. nothing.. I then set the radio signal to LTE only, and viola.. connected.. LTE with 5 bars... Although SignalCheck Pro showed nothing...a switch to Signal Check's Show Hidden Data then revealed the LTE information, showing the GCI: 0821F401.. The exact Sector ID which I was connecting to every morning on my way to work with my HTC One.. Kinda sux that I have the fantastic phone and NO 4G... although I guess I shouldn't complain too loud, as sprint hasn't even announced that the Cleveland market is on it's way yet)

On a phone purchased from google, or a a phone purchased from sprint Or bestbuy marketed as a sprint phone?

Hey mike.. just wanted to verify.. I forced my phone on LTE using the System Shortcuts/radio info screen.. LTE engineering screen says band 25, signal check pro say.. NO Cellular connection.. WIFI is off, and I am able to speedtest 2mbps down an up.. (It's a very poor connection).. Just FYI... Let me know if you want me to do anything more and report it in the SignalCheck pro forum..

I love this phone! I've never got lte at home.. And believe me I've tried.. Set n5 lte only.. Went outside toggled airplane mode.. And holy s I got lte... Barely any signal but it was lte.. signal check pro didn't pick it up as lte though... However lte was lit and I was able to pull a speed test.. Only 1mb down.. But it's still better then 3G in my area... I have enabled the other bands and I am in a clearwire area... Is it possible that signal check pro wouldn't pick up Band 41 signal ( I know it does pick the 2 1900 towers outside of my range)...

Has anybody put another carrier SIM in a N5 marketed as a sprint N5... Curious if there is Carrier lock..

Just picked up my sprint N5 from best buy.. Came with SIM inserted with the ICCID on the box..opted for buy vs upgrade and best buy price matched googles price of 349.... Just finished the 125mb update...

Looks like perhaps the tower on Haskins Road has been lit up with 4G...

I've seen the roaming thing when they were testing the Lindale LTE tower.. Had 4g, showed the Lindale Sector ID (didn't know it at the time), and roaming.. the Next day, show 4G, the Lindale sector ID (which I know this now) and not roaming. I don't know if is called the sector ID, but it is a Hex number which signal check pro shows when connected to LTE...

Got excited because I saw some new LTE right in my neighborhood.. Jumped in my car with LTE only, Signal Check Pro and Sensorly running, and drove around for what seemed like an hour trying to pick up the new signal.. I didn't get any.. Then I came home, flustered, and looked at the map one more time.. zoomed in a bit, and then realized that the new LTE i was seeing was following the line of 350kv towers running through my neighborhood... Darn Ohio edison guy flying the helicopter which flies up and down the line checking them must have had Sensorly running on his phone, and picked up either the Sheffield Tower or the Olmsted Township tower... So there is signal in my neighborhood. You just gotta climb to the top of a 350,000 volt electrical tower to get it.

I got one. Tablet seems a little buggy.. Hotspot function is available and works. I got the 15/month plan.... All in all a good cheap tablet. It's no note..

Wait.. so 2.5 let is already live in NE Ohio? So If I get a triband hotspot I'll be LTE wherever there was WiMax?
