Well.. My question was more in regards to the Nexus 5, which won't connect without forcing unless the CSFB update has been performed

So is CSFB active on that tower or did you have to force LTE?

Nite.. were you able to pick it up with your N5.. I didn't switch to LTE only on it, but my Galaxy Tab picked it up.. but signal check pro doesn't give a location on the Galaxy Tab

So I think I just picked LTE up off of the Race Rd North Ridgeville Tower...

So I see the Information about the Galaxy S5 coming of MWC.. Is there anybody else not very impressed.. I was expecting (and it still may come) an S5 with an aluminum body, Crazy resolution display, 64bit etc.. Am I missing something?

ahh.. you beat me to it.. I noticed that when I got into my car this morning.. no more EV-DO, all eHRPD.. (at least on the Center Ridge and Lorain towers in N Ridgeville) until I connected to the first North Olmsted tower on 480.. then it dropped back to EV-DO until it connected to LTE just past the airport. How do you know if you are making an HD call? Which phone do you have

Sweet-I was just at the BW3 at Richmond and Harvard, in Orange/Beachwood/Warrensville, and my Nexus 5 lit up with LTE... I made a call, and it immediatly went to 1xrtt/3g, and as soon as, and I mean instantly, when I hung up it went back to LTE CSFB seems to work really well.

GRRR Why are we the red headed stepchild.. I thought Northeast Ohio had a large sprint following.. Why would be so far down the the priority list.. very frustrating...

@sprintcare: @tprevett Thx 4 the info. On the 1st tower we are having issues on 1/2 Mills Rd. The 2nd tower is being affected by the same tower. -JOR Lol I was pouting because there has been 0 movement on the first 2 towers in Ohio which were reported as in princess. And they are the 2 towers which service my house...

My N5 grabbed an LTE signal for a second today at my office in Beachwood.. I'm assuming it came off the tower at Northfield. This is the tower my HTC One and Galaxy Tab pull LTE from once and a while.. Perhaps they have performed the CSFB software upgrade on that tower? Now I didn't actually see LTE light up, I heard the Chime from Signal Check pro, letting me know that it had connected. I suppose it could have also been an 800mhz connection from further out east.. But either way, it shows progress! This process is painstakingly slow. Makes the T-Mobile announcement today sound like a pretty good option. I have a T-mobile SIM in my Sprint iPad Air, and I have T-Mobile LTE everyplace I travel to around NE ohio, which pulls down at 30 down and 10-15 up no matter where I am.. hmmm-- Options...

Costco dropped carrying Sprint in its stores (At least in my store) quite a few years. I'm very glad that the Avon, Ohio store has once again begun carrying sprint again. Really makes me believe that Sprint is once again (Or soon will be) a viable competitor again in the cell phone market!

The 800 being talked about in this thread is not lte... On another note... Sandusky is peppered with 800mhz active towers... And it is closer to the Canadian border.. So I would think that we are good as far as IBEZ .. The thing that is the hardest to swallow for me is that the two towers closest to my house in North Ridgeville were the first towers to be reported as being worked on in ohio.. And they still are not complete... :-(

I did get a price match.. 349 at best buy.. but in all fairness, I really played the Elite+ card (spent over 8k there this year), and bought their warranty, (which I will cancel on day 32).... Plus I know the guy who sold it to me...
