  1. This is VERY important. Just go to Gazelle and see how much a Sprint iPhone6 is worth vs. a Verizon iPhone6.
  2. Oh ok. That makes sense I guess. I don't really care about data carryover, I just saw that and was wondering which plans have that. Sprint really needs to modify their lower tier Family Share pack pricing. If you don't need 12GB or more of data, it's overpriced.
  3. Wait? Sprint has Carry Over Data now? http://newsroom.sprint.com/featured-articles/sprints-plans-promos-and-offers-prove-compelling-to-customers-hard-to-match-for-rivals.htm Did I miss something?
  4. Gotcha. That makes sense. The Turbo areas were bad in Baltimore because non of the sites are actually fast yet. I never get LTE in their "fair" areas. But these coverage maps are way better than before.
  5. Are there any areas with Spark Turbo anymore? All the areas around Baltimore that were "Turbo" are no longer marked as such.
  6. Yes...heading south to TN from MD. Getting on 81 from 66. So I shouldn't count on being able to stream Disney Jr that drive? LOL
  7. Excuse my ignorance...Does Sprint use nTelos for coverage along I-81 through Virginia? I'll be driving that way soon, and noticed Sprint has zero towers along most of I-81 in Virginia, but they have 3G/LTE coverage on their maps.
  8. In new developments...Legere deleted his tweets criticizing Root Metrics! Lol I guess his PR team would like to use their data in the future if they ever get out of last place.
  9. Can someone post this here? I can't see twitter at work and no cell phones allowed in the building (don't ask) :-P
  10. Shots fired! https://twitter.com/marceloclaure/status/565374342528528386
  11. Legere on damage control: https://twitter.com/johnlegere/status/565180668268003328 If team magenta was first or even above Sprint, you know Legere would be blowing it up!
  12. People post great speed test results...not the crappy ones. Root Metrics uses all the tests. I would be quite shocked if the average anywhere was over 20Mbps. Even 8T8R sites on band 41 are running below 20Mbps around here.
  13. Where does Sprint average over 20mbps? I've hit 80Mbps in Baltimore...but usually around 5-10Mbps.
  14. Can't wait! Thanks for the efforts! I hope this gets to the App Store and you charge for it, I'll gladly pay either way!
  15. I don't think a name change is in the cards either...but it's not out of the realm of possibilities. Maybe a Spark name ala Xfinity brand?
  16. That's definitey one way to look at it...not the only way though. Sprints brand name is pretty tarnished (evidenced by the recent write down). Nobody said they were changing their name soon...but certainly none of us know their plans. Unless of course Marcelo is on these forums ????
  17. That's what we do as well. Mostly use it for the Disney Jr login for Roku. I have Fios 50/50 for $29.99 (retention offer) for 24 months. So with an antenna, TabloTV (OTA dvr), and a few Roku3's we don't have a need for cable. Don't watch much TV anyways.
  18. New Sprint logo coming? Maybe new name? https://twitter.com/marceloclaure/status/564315007970594817
  19. Nationwide network that covers 230 million people! Times sure have changed. I wonder how many POPs 800mhz voice covers?
  20. Obviously Sprint knows more about their business than we do. Marcelo is the right person for the job today and likely into the future. Sprint's network is better today than it was a year ago. Period. It's not going to get worse in 2015, it's going to get better. Much better.
