1. Yes I am talking to Samsung through Twitter and their support team so let's see what happens my man. I loved my note 9 but when it went and this happened then yeah I'm upset. And I got a first degree burn on the tip of my finger which seems to be healing okay.

This could unironically only happen to user danlodish345
Glad you are ok man! This is a pretty impressive yet unique set of events leading to what looks like a smoldering handset. Call Samsung my dude and see if they'll give you some kind of exchange for finding out what it takes to vampire slay a phone.

2. Still though it's a very unsafe. But even still Samsung should really improve the safety of its products. Unfortunately I don't have insurance so I'm out of pretty penny.

Bro I though it exploded on its own! Glad you didn’t get hurt though. I hope you have Sprint complete or some type of insurance

I was walking down a concrete sidewalk and I happened to trip on a part of the concrete that wasn't level with the ground. So I was stupid enough to not have my casing on my phone and there was a now sticking up out of the concrete so the nail puncture the phone and got to the battery that's how this happened.

4. Yes they have it's just about nationwide now. Here they will only allow b2, b4 and b66 roaming no b12. I dont know if its like that everywhere but here that's how it is. It's also uncapped. I dont think it uses CA either.

5. Yeah it is. T-Mobile’s widest channel is 10 MHz (AWS and PCS), Verizon has 15 MHz B4, but can go 20 MHz once they decide to attach the G block AWS-3 to it, and they also have J block (a 10 MHz block). Not used to seeing uploads this high so far north!
T-Mobile's why is channel where I live is a 20 megahertz band 4 carrier.

6. Our area is actually sold under an old Cingular affiliate, Horry Telephone Cooperative. We have a pair of Corporate stores in town for wireless subscribers and whatever media ATT bought last week. HTC is the fiber and backbone provider for our area.

They were slow to roll out HSPA here, so ATT made a big push a couple years ago in the area to update base stations. It seems to have worked out; updating to bands 2/30 in an overlay went smooth right after the 2g shutdown. It looks like those will be touched again with band 14, and 30 will now be coming to most sites. Bands 4/12 are active on every site.

Have you seen any ATT small cells? I haven't yet outside of COWs.

Where I live there is no densification. So the only carry that's densified here is Verizon. But then all the carriers in my town lack densification due to township bureaucracy and red tape.

7. At our location we have 10MHz band 30, 10 and 5MHz^2 band 4, 15MHz band 2, 10MHz band 12 active on the network; I see firstnet in the network scan but won't have a band 14 enabled radio for a month or so. We have a two routers with detailed logging enabled, one is stationary and one is mobile. How should we best contribute data to this thread?
AT&T has a second 5 megahertz PCS carrier where I live. They also have 10 megahertz of band 12 deployed 10 megahertz of band 29 and 10 megahertz a band 30 deployed where I live. The only Spectrum that's not the point on LTE is band 5 which is relegated to HSPA.

8. I would not be surprised if it was t-mobile B71 upgrades, i've found 2 towers with it live in central iowa in the past couple of weeks now.
Seems like early next year TMobile will launch band 71 over here. But then again they have to swap out the gear here.

9. Now, there could be some transition pains. T-Mobile's network is oversold in some places and T-Mobile said that at some point they will transition all of Sprint's LTE customers off band 41 and onto the midband and 4, 2 and 25. Now hopefully by that time they will have enough 5G coverage on the remaining 2.5Ghz spectrum and would have enough 5G phones and customers so that the midband does not become congested.
TMobile is definitely over sold where I live. They're so congested during the evening that I get deprioritized and I'm on postpaid. SO only when I see things and prove if this merger happens that I will start to believe things. I live by the attitude I'll believe it when I see it.

10. T-Mobile CFO thinks the deal might close in the first quarter:

“The only remaining thing that is happening is depositions with the DoJ, which have started and will be completed in a few weeks,” CFO J. Braxton Carter told the Morgan Stanley TMT Conference in Barcelona.

“At this point, it’s more pointing to the second quarter as more probable (but) it could still be first quarter,” Carter said.

I'm sad to see Sprint go.

11. Well for that to happen, Sprint needs some money for expansion AND to ease up on all these roaming agreements..especially the one with T-Mobile since their bigger network is poo.

I can agree with you on that one. TMobile totally over sold their entire network in my area of New Jersey. I got slowed to 0.87 megabytes a second before download plus deprioritization pretty much crippled my ability to load emails.c77949bdc75cec14165884ce6f70c1ef.jpg

12. Yeah, they need 20,000 sites to even match T-mobile and 40,000 to mach the big 2.
That's something they obviously aren't able to afford to financially. At the moment at least. Coverage expansion hasn't even happened in my town which is in one of Sprint's biggest markets. I am disappointed in Sprint. But they have money problems so then it's understandable they can't expand coverage. I really don't want to see Sprint go away. But I am disappointed in sprints efforts to have their Network expand.
