Oh ahaha .. I'm actually leaving TMobile. I want to go to either Boost Mobile or Verizon prepaid. T-Mobile completely over sold their Network here and their data deprioritization pretty much made me run at 0.87 megabytes a second.

Reflash it to unlocked software. Simply reflash the softwarethat's used on the unlocked that is used on the unlocked Galaxy S9. That should enable it.

I have the Galaxy Note 9. So if Sprint is acquired by T-Mobile they will have all the necessary frequencies to create one heck of a network.

Well my best guess would be to use signal check pro so you can locate the sites you connect to. It will be a trial an error on finding which carrier is colocated with t mo. Most verizon sites here are very distinct compared to the other carriers. I know I've put pics up of all the carriers here in colorado. Here we are a samsung market for sprint. You will need to check out the equipment section so you can see what sprint equipment looks like and use process of elimination. Some at&t and T mo sites here can have different setups compared to others.    

 bottom rack Verizon, then at&t or t mo, then sprint, then clearwire now sprint band 41, but again they're allot of carrier's on this site.  I don't know what other major carrier'syou have over there.  

What market are you in? Looks like second from bottom is sprint, also looks like there might be clearwire converted to sprint band 41 second from top. It's a guess on which ones are the other big 3 carrier's cause my market isn't setup like those. I can spot all 4 carrier's here in Colorado. Sorry.

No, T-mobile wants the 2.5GHz spectrum for 5G. But they could trade the 700+800MHz to Dish for Dish's 600MHz. I know that Dish has only 5x5Mhz nationwide but they have some choice holdings in some critical cities (NYC). 

So here is another site a couple miles away with sprint on top. This also has a rru behind antennas also. I know of a couple other sites I can check out too see if they have them or not.

Well this has nothing to do with the reciprocal $533M spectrum leads then. Just your green variety spectrum swap. I know that I might be harping on this too much but is there some thought of simplifying their spectrum holding at some point after the merger?Let's see, they will have holdings in the 600MHz, 700MHz, 800MHz, AWS-1, AWS-3, PCS+G, and 2.5GHz bands + CBRS next year. Lot of antennas on the combined sites. I'd be horse trading like crazy/

They look the same.  I can't remember if the rrus are new or not.

This is just another regular spectrum realignment as in the past. Nothing more, nothing less. 
Whatever you hear from people who have very clear biases and misconceptions does not mesh with what happened in reality. 

Guess we will see I and others thought maybe they were going to use some of each other's LTE bands on both networks

A quick thing I made up yesterday after looking at the FCC documents. This is currently what was agreed to and there are additional markets still pending.

Interesting I think I saw one of those in northern Iowa. Almost mistakened it for a Hexadecaport, but upon closer look I didnt see the right RRUs.

I'm not too sure. Check it out though. Look at the SD slot. It may or may not I do not know for sure.

That's why it's so big? Is that the same for my S8?
