I have the A71 now. How do I set screen time out to never?
10 minutes is currently the longest setting displayed.
My past LG phones had never as an option.

New T-Mobile is officially running the show now and repurposing all of Sprint/Clearwire 2.5 GHz Spectrum.

Good. Hopefully the small number of Sprint 5G users have now upgraded to newer T-Mobile 5G-compatible devices.

That's gotta be a typo. The A71 5G lists B24 support rather than B25...24 is L band, which I've seen used by precisely no one in the US. It's also marked as an LTE band for native service rather than roaming, alongside 26 and 41. $10 says that's a typo for B25.
Okay, I have now ordered the A71 to replace my G7 based on your assurance.

I don't know if you are still waiting, but the OnePlus is showing 50% off on Sprint's site now. I ordered one this morning for in store pickup. Edit: well lease payment is 50% off, full price is still $699.
The promotion looks like it is only for a new line of service, not to upgrade an existing line.

Does the new Galaxy A71 5G midrange phone include band 25?
If it is the same specs as T-Mobile's, it only supports bands 41 and 71 for 5G.
(also no band 25 for 4G)

I get confused by all these Galaxy variants. 🥴

Something I just noticed recently, Best Buy doesn't list Sprint leases on their website (at least for the S20's) as an option anymore.
I wish that BestBuy would also sell the LG V60 and OnePlus 8 for Sprint.

Do you not want to order it through them?
I usually bought my past Sprint phones through BestBuy since they had better sales deals.

Where can I buy this phone besides sprint.com?

Former Sprint CEO and current Softbank COO Marcelo Claure will personally purchase an additional $500 Million worth of shares in T-Mobile with a loan from SoftBank as SoftBank prepares to sell $20 billion in T-Mobile shares to raise needed cash.

It seems that Dish will close the Boost transaction on July 1st:
The company did not officially close the purchase, nor did it provide any of the parameters of the pending deal, including how many customers might be involved or the final price.
But the company's announcement – made via an SEC filing – represents Dish's intention to enter the wireless industry, first as an MVNO of T-Mobile and, potentially, as a nationwide 5G network operator.
It appears that the Department of Justice had to step in during the negotiations between T-Mobile and Dish to push the transaction forward. "On June 17, 2020, the Department of Justice (the 'DOJ') determined that T-Mobile has complied with the requirement in the final judgment entered by a federal district court in Washington, D.C. on April 1, 2020 (the 'Final Judgment') to provide Dish the ability to cross-provision any new or existing customer of the prepaid business with a compatible handset onto the T-Mobile network," T-Mobile wrote in its own SEC filing on the matter. "As a result, we believe all conditions to closing under the Asset Purchase Agreement (other than those conditions that can only be satisfied at closing) have been satisfied and, subject to the satisfaction of the conditions that must be satisfied at closing, the closing of the Prepaid Business Sale will occur on July 1, 2020."

Excellent. Price of DISH stock now significantly up: https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/DISH

Oh man.... We all saw this coming.
To be realistic, I would expect New T-Mobile to be cutting thousands of jobs to eliminate overlap in the combined companies as well as adapt to the reduced physical footprint needs of the COVID-19 era.

Thank you! I could not find it before because the filter selection for 5G phones is not working correctly.
Unless I am failing again, I unfortunately cannot find these phones sold anywhere outside the Sprint website.
I have usually bought my Sprint phones through Best Buy.
Also, T-Mobile is giving a 50% off promotion for OnePlus 8 but not Sprint?

Analysts are bringing up some questions as to when is the sale of Boost to Dish is going to close and when is the lease of Dish's 600Mhz spectrum to T-Mobile going to to be signed and under what terms. I guess we will find out soon.
https://www.fiercewireless.com/wireless/dish-s-boost-closing-where-it-analysts
Was hoping for deeper analysis from the article.
Why is DISH possibly stalling: do they not have the money to close the deal and/or they can't operationally handle taking over Boost as a company at this time?

FCC’s 5G Upgrade order passes 3-2
The ruling adopted today clarifies the commission’s 2014 rules with regard to when the 60-day shot clock for local review begins. The ruling also clarifies how certain aspects of proposed modifications – height increases, equipment cabinet additions and impact on concealment elements and aesthetic conditions – affect eligibility for streamlined review.

Is T-Mobile Stock a Buy?
"The recent tie-up has given the combined company hidden growth potential, which could make T-Mobile a potential home run stock with less risk than many other investment options."

Why no OnePlus 8 on Sprint?

When will we get more 5G phones to buy from Sprint instead of just Galaxy S20?

I bought DISH stock a few months ago. It has now gone up 75% in value. 🥴
Not sure what in the economy to believe or where this company is going.

So just had a representative from sprint come to my house asking wear wireless service we have and then said t mobile and sprint are combining this summer. Kept saying that they are dumping a ton of money in the network and he could save us on our monthly bill. I basically told him I know what's going on and there is no reason to switch. Plus he said he could lower our bill. Which I really doubt it. My question is why are they doing door to door sales and wouldn't it be beneficial to get at&t and Verizon users? That was a first for me.
I wonder what the success rates are on this door-to-door sales strategy. 🤔

Ajit Pai is making lots of enemies on the road to 5G
In moving to free up Wi-Fi and bolster superfast service, Pai has alienated some industries, congressional committees and Trump Cabinet leaders.
