While the stock price drops back to $5, Claure still keeps his 10 million Sprint shares bonus after the stock stayed above $8 last spring due to all this merger speculation.
Corporate executive compensation is a joke (robbery).

Started buying Sprint (S) again @ $5.85
Hate that I will be back to waiting on rumors again to make money on this stock.

I am now assigned a few days a month to Fort Meade, MD in the Army Reserve. Poor connectivity and data speeds.

When are you selling?
Perhaps sell when there is another price spike due to rumor or other hype.

7% drop today as of now.
Started buying Sprint (S) again @ $7.39

Just sold off more shares of Sprint (S) @ $9.20 due to Tidal purchase and continued 52-week highs.
I might start buying shares in Sprint (S) again if the price drops back into the low $7 range.
After a long patience, Sprint (S) is back in the $7 range today.
Now, I have to evaluate and decide if it is time to buy again.

So, does anyone have an idea when we will be able to get our hands on this device?

No complaints here after waiting years for this update. The threaded messaging view was my immediate benefit.

It's probably Marcelo trying to get ideas and your blocking him.
Good. He should pay to be a S4GRU Sponsor.

Maybe Sprint/Trump can announce a massive densification/coverage expansion of the network and actually commit money to get it done. Then announce it again when it's actually finished. That's a win/win I can get behind. The rest is smoke and mirrors.

See I am old and skeptical. CEOs don't just let the President announce and get credit for job creation if they don't get something for it. It's Sprint that's creating the jobs, not Trump. By letting him claim credit for it they are doing him a favor. They are going to call on the favor at some point or another. I firmly believe it's about the merger.
Take the $256M battery plant in Buffalo Between Tesla and Panasonic. Don't you think that was a quid pro quo from Trump? As in don't touch the federal subsidies for renewables?
If I was running either of these companies I would definitely make a deal where I got something out of it. Wouldn't you?
Regardless of any backroom deals, having the President-Elect share credit is a publicity multiplier.
Win-Win for both sides.

Anyone care about one web?
I remember somewhere in here sprint was planning on using satellites for backhaul or something like that?? In rural areas??
Interesting check out one web... Seems like sprint/SoftBank has big plans for something in 2017. 3000 jobs to one web?? Doesn't seem like a merger to me yet. Really sounds as if SoftBank has something up its sleeve.

Long story short, I went over my mother's house today for the first time in over a year and what used to be just unusable 3G (sometimes) and mainly 1x800 was solid B26, nothing great by any means but it made my day there today a lot better. Sprint has definitely made some improvements, haven't seen much lately so this is a good sign.
Are you now going to visit your mother more than just once a year?

It's too early to give Claure an $80+ million stock bonus. I want Claure and top Sprint executive to stay hungry for at least another 12 to 24 months. The company has still not yet earned a profit and continues to carry a growing $37 billion in debt.

6% jump in United States Cellular Corp now. Any idea why?

Received an update this morning.

Honest question. With the current state of T-Mobile, do they really need a merger with another cellular company? Has anyone here used their service in comparison to Sprint?
Doesn't matter.
Merger = more $$$ for executives and shareholders regardless of service and jobs
If it can happen, they will make it happen.

I was just saying the same thing the other day.
Welcome to the stock market.
But let's not forget some people bought Sprint when it was at $11 less than three years ago. (not me)

S and TMUS keep hitting new 52-week highs as I type.
My investment in USM is also doing well.
Nevertheless, I must keep up my fear!
