In the last 3 months I have used about 4GB, but then again I have Clear for when I'm in Vegas or Visalia. Sometimes I use my phone to tether, and then I use more data, but lately has been less usage. (This is combined 3G, roaming, & 4G data.)
The article mentions specifically laptops and hotspots, but it is a breakthrough to get these chipsets ready for phones in the prime-time. Hopefully soon we will see Qualcomm announcing phone ready modems that will be battery friendly. And I'm sure that Sprint will order them provisioned for all their LTE frequencies including Clear's LTE frequencies.
In a way. It's pretty pricey. My friends brother doesn't sell much for cars, but at least the material has a lifetime warranty, lol. Anti-Grafitti film is thick enough it can really take a severe beating and still protect the glass. It gets put on commercial buildings all the time.
