I just pulled 743k down and 201k up on 181ms ping with 4 out of 6 bars of service in Visalia. I never get that high of speeds here, even at night. Must be a new T1 upgrade in the area.

I saw Sprint's iPhone commercial last night about unlimited data and thought that was nicely done.
-
I stay with Sprint for the value. For four lines and my government bureaucrat discount, I save a lot over Verizon with 5GB plans. Over $100 per month. And then add the value of unlimited on top of that.
Oh yeah...and I also run a Sprint blog! Besides all that, 3G functions pretty well in my area. For me, Sprint is a no-brainer. However, I definitely understand the concept that it's not right for everyone.

Robert, what is your discount % per month? Right now I get 25% on my evo shift, but I'm looking for a larger discount. Anyone have access to a larger discount than 25% that I could get access to?
And I am keeping Sprint because I have unlimited data and the call quality is better than I had on at&t.

Actually, Josh, the Sprint network in Visalia "properly" uses Sprint's San Francisco-Oakland-San Jose MTA SID 04183 because the Visalia-Porterville-Hanford BTA is part of that MTA. Ubiquitel -- before Sprint bought it out -- held affiliate market territory spanning both the San Francisco-Oakland-San Jose MTA and the Los Angeles-San Diego MTA. Basically, Ubiquitel was the Sprint affiliate for both Fresno and Bakersfield. Ubiquitel wanted to operate its affiliate network under one SID, so it "improperly" used SID 04183 in the Los Angeles-San Diego MTA portion of its market, where it technically should have used SID 04145.
AJ
I guess I am not surprised that they improperly used the SID. Was Ubiquitel only limited to California?

I have culled current data from the FCC ULS and have updated most of the top markets. For example, I have this XLSX file in progress:

Awesome. It will be nice to see the completed file. And where do I find the ownership info for the SMR licenses? I have never been able to locate them on the FCC website.

Holy cow! I'm on the Ubiquitel SID here in Visalia.

I guess that answers my question about the map part of it. Thanks AJ.

Does anyone have the time to make a map that details what blocks of the PCS Spectrum and where they are located that Sprint holds? I would love to see one and have for reference. Or maybe I could build it if I can find some free time.

WebOS was very calm in terms of operating systems. I wasn't able to use it enough to learn how it worked, but it sure was much calmer than android, and so I liked it better personally.
-
Wow. Talk about a large stretch. Is A block the better part of the PCS Spectrum?

Thanks for the info 4rings.

Will there be any more neighborhood by neighborhood breakdowns for Network Vision rollouts in primary markets like there was for Chicago? I'm particularly interested in Boston.
If the information regarding neighborhood by neighborhood is leaked from Sprint, then I'm sure we will be the first to know.

Yes-- PCS A block is 25, 50, 75, 100, 125, 150, 175, 200, 225, 250, & 275. It is always one of these 11 channels. That's what Sprint has here in Baton Rouge too.
Thanks.
What other blocks of the PCS Spectrum does Sprint have? I now know the channel numbers for A,B, & G.

I also would like to see WebOS survive despite HP giving the axe to it like they did.

Why are you still with Sprint?
