Since we are being frank, I would never buy a device counting on an Android upgrade in the future. Ever. Also, Google allows any OEM to use any Android OS it wants. It doesn't require anyone to upgrade anything at any time. An OEM can create a new smartphone with Android 2.3 and tablet with Android 3.0 right this moment and never upgrade to a newer version of Android in the future. 4. It is because Network Vision involves tearing down every piece of equipment and every cable and cabinet at every site. It is not just adding LTE. Sprint is replacing its entire network and replacing with new state of the art multi-modal sites. This takes a lot of time per site and there is a huge learning curve when they get started. And Sprint is starting the training and working with crews in less dense population areas on the outskirts and then working in.This result in a better and overall faster deployment. If they started in dense areas, any up front issues get magnified over a large customer base in a small area. Makes more sense to start in fringe rural areas. There are a lot less sites in the outlier areas, so they are wrapping up fast and production is ramping up as the move inward. Progress will be rapid. Also, the FCC would probably take exception to your ideas for deployment. Focusing on wealthy and urban customers first is likely a violation of their rules. Robert

  9. I haven't worn 34’s since High School. I eat too much fried chicken and smoked pork. I'm still trying to get down to 38's. I think I'm giving up on that. Robert via Kindle Fire using Forum Runner

  17. The whole market will not be done next month. But perhaps their contract wraps up next month. If they continue at the rate they have been deploying lately, the may be able to complete October 1st over the whole market. Which is way ahead of schedule. Robert
  18. This is the first I've heard of someone porting from Boost to Sprint. Sorry you had such a bad experience. I had a friend port over from Verizon to Sprint about two months ago. He said it was a breeze. I personally have never ported before. Maybe someone else around here has more info for you. On another note, I was born in Grand Rapids. Lots of family up there. I now make Northern New Mexico my home. Welcome to S4GRU. Robert via Kindle Fire using Forum Runner
