  1. Oh, and one other thing. San Felipe Pueblo is a dead zone to all providers. The pueblo won't let a tower be erected. 850 gets there a little better from the Budaghers tower. But no one has good service there. Robert via Samsung Note 8.0 using Tapatalk Pro
  2. What device are you using? The very bottom of La Bajada for about 1/2 mile and the very bottom of San Felipe Pueblo for about 1/2 mile was all I ever had as a dead zone. I've never lost a signal between Sandia and Bernalillo. However, the Sprint 3G speeds between Santa Fe and Bernalillo are great. Often over 2Mbps. On Tmo, you will be 100kbps EDGE from 3 miles north of US 550 until the La Cienega exit. Tmo is completely unusable for about 3 miles around San Felipe Pueblo. But it does not drop at La Bajada, as they have a little witty bitty EDGE tower on the canyon rim just to the NE of the freeway. If you look for it when north bound, you'll see it. Cute little thing. 4. Yes, because it was first. That's why. Somewhere has to be first and somewhere has to be last. And if I were deciding, I would have selected Dayton first also. Dayton never received WiMax, even. My guess as to why though is because the backhaul vendor in Dayton is much farther along. But rest assured, since Cincy is a Samsung market, your area probably is well under way. Samsung is flying. And if it's not fast enough for you, you have options. But one of things that is not an option for you is to complain here. Robert via Samsung Note 8.0 using Tapatalk Pro
  5. I first read this sentence as "between On the Border and KFC". I think I may be hungry. Robert via Samsung Note 8.0 using Tapatalk Pro
  6. The iPhone will likely move to Band 26 from Band 25 before it completely runs out of range. Remember that LTE is network controlled and not running through a PRL list like CDMA. Once Band 25 performance is starting to degrade on the device, it will start scanning for better LTE connections itself, or the network may tell it to. Robert via Samsung Note 8.0 using Tapatalk Pro
  7. This thread already exists. Locked because it is a duplicate. Robert via Samsung Note 8.0 using Tapatalk Pro
  8. No. That is not typical. But there are already areas that need a second carrier. High traffic areas in Dallas, Houston and Chicago especially. Sprint is deploying additional LTE carriers in three bands to improve speeds. Even Verizon speeds were plummeting below 1Mbps in many areas. They are deploying a second carrier now too. 9. I cannot confirm or deny that. Robert via Samsung Note 8.0 using Tapatalk Pro
  10. Reading the same old rehashed complaints is also getting old. This is not a therapy thread. You guys are getting off topic. Robert via Samsung Note 8.0 using Tapatalk Pro
  11. . I was thinking the same thing. Robert via Samsung Note 8.0 using Tapatalk Pro
  12. The purpose of this thread is to track Sprint progress in the Chicago market. We aren't going to allow a carrier by carrier analysis over which one is best in Chicago. We are not here to host or provide that analysis for you. Robert via Samsung Note 8.0 using Tapatalk Pro
  13. I'm just guessing too. I'm looking forward to finding out. If they get accepted complete by Sprint, I will know soon. Robert
  14. Possible. But more likely is that the nTelos LTE network may be being opened up to Sprint customers. Or, it was accidentally left open while testing. Robert

  16. I expect them to start going live around d the same time too. To clarify, the fiber was being installed at the I-25 and St. Francis site (which still hasn't even been accepted 3G). He said they were working on other sites around Santa Fe too. Robert via Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  17. It would be great for Sprint to buy it. But they are not for sale. SouthernLinc is owned by Southern Companies. Their wireless company is for its personal use. They like it like that. Robert via Nexus 5 using Tapatalk

  19. ABQ IS NOT IN THE EL PASO MARKET. Please refer to post above that clearly outlines what is going on with regards to the market. There is no El Paso market. El Paso is in the Albuquerque market. Albuquerque market sites connect to the El Paso switch. Please refer to the map. I also recommend you take this information back to your sources and I bet they will corroborate that. I think you are misunderstanding them. You (or they) are getting a market confused with an MSC (switch). Robert
  20. Not quite. There is some misunderstanding occurring. El Paso is in Sprint's Albuquerque market. Sprint has 99 markets, and not one of them is named El Paso. However, where the confusion may be occurring is that the Sprint MSC (switch) for the Albuquerque market is in El Paso. In the Sponsor section it shows every one of Sprint's ~39,000 sites and which market and MSC they belong to. Here is a map showing the Sprint markets and their names: http://s4gru.forumflash.com/uploads/gallery/album_5/gallery_1_5_299248.jpg Robert
