It was announced that Clearwire has sold its Belgium Operations to Belgium Company, TechMax.

I am sure that both Flemish and Walloons alike are heartbroken at Clearwire's departure.

Does anybody know if the cablecos have sold off their Clearwire holdings? I would like to see them offer some fixed modem internet access. I would not mind having them as a a backup internet provider for my wife's office.

Now that TechMax owns Clearwire Belgium, they are planning to launch a commercial TD-LTE Network by the end of the year.
