I am looking to get in the sprint unlimited family plan with 2 lines for $100! I don't see any option, I only see family share plans, and I don't want one of those at all!

Try looking around online for Employee Plus Referral offers, as those have some of the old plans which include guaranteed unlimited data for life, if that is something you're interested in, alongside the unlimited data.

I'll let someone else chime in here. I think this plan is only for new lines.

I called in and inquired.  Sprint rep said we can change, but monthly bill would increase about $60 compared to our present family plan of five (5) phones.

For now, we are keeping our outdated plan.  It's a matter of dollars vs benefit.

All that unlimited sounds great, but the math rules.

We have the unlimited data and text with 1500 family shared voice minutes*

 

*I have read of people being totally disconnected and barred from Sprint if their roaming outside of Sprint service exceeded a certain amount of data usage.  Since I do not travel as much as I used to, that has not been a big threat.  Occasionally, I wonder into uncharted waters like NW Iowa where I did have some voice and data roaming issues, but I kept my usage down.... nothing said

A contributing factor to that was my Motorola Photon Q on automatic was selecting invalid bands and leaving me with no service of any kind..With some experimentation, I found a workable setting.

Do they still have an unlimited family plan? I can't seem to find it anywhere on their website. We currently have three lines on the family data share at 20 gigs. Two line use about 6 or 7 gigs and the third line barely anything. Considering switching just to have it for when they take away unlimited...

We currently pay 125 after the 20% employer discount so if I understand it correctly, we'd pay $15 more/month to change. What do you all think?

Unlimited My Way at Sprint, or the BestBuy plan.

Blasphemy!  If you do the BestBuy plan, it'd be $140/month (3 lines) for the services and then whatever else for the phone financing, then taxes.

That's almost what I pay for 5 lines with phone subsidies. (Which is just another example of why the death of the 2 year contract only benefits the companies and not the consumers)

And i just spoke two two best buy mobile stores and they indicate that I would have to get three new phones leased or on easypay... Mind you, my phones were subsidized when I got them my two year committment is up so I would think so long as I didn't get a new phone I wouldn't have to pay the $40 access per line. Currently we pay $15.

So I'm not sure this is worth it. We currently pay $125 for all three lines including the access fees after the $20 discount. I may be willing to pay $15 more to get the unlimited, but i don't need a new phone... Thoughts?

      Kind of amazing that T-Mobile is still holding onto that speed title despite Verizon all but killing off lowband 5G on their network. While Verizon is mostly being evaluated on mmWave and C-band performance, T-Mobile and AT&T's average 5G speeds include their massive lowband 5G networks that are significantly slower.

      Yup. Very true. We were originally on an Everything Data 1500 Plan, which got Unlimited Minutes thanks to Marcelo's "Loyalty Benefits" offer. We then switched to Unlimited Freedom (with the Free HD add-on that Sprint originally wanted $20/month per line for.... remember that?) because the pricing was better with "iPhone for Life", vs. the "Loyalty Credit" for staying on a Legacy Plan. After that, I ran the numbers and switched us over to Sprint MAX, especially for the international travel benefits. There's absolutely no reason for us to switch to Go5G Plus or Go5G Next if we're going to do BYOD by purchasing from Apple/Samsung/Google directly as we've been doing. These new plans aren't priced for current customers to switch to. They're priced for new customers, where they throw in a free line, etc. It's gone from "Uncarrier" to "Carrier". What a shame.

      Strange business model that they keep around all these pricing plans. 1000s of plans per carrier is reportedly not uncommon.  Training customer support must be a nightmare. Even MVNOs have legacy plans. A downside of their contract mentality I guess. Best to change contracts during a recession. But then all carriers try to squeeze out legacy plan benefits as they grow old.

      Everything "Uncarrier" is becoming "Carrier" again. Because of the Credit Limit that T-Mobile put on our account for no reason at all (and wouldn't change/update the last time I checked all the way up to the CEO), I don't plan on buying/upgrading our iPhones through T-Mobile. I'm going through Apple directly. Looks like I'll be going through Google and Samsung directly for our other lines for upgrades. Also, we're staying on Sprint Max given the ridiculous pricing for Go5G Plus. On Sprint Max, we currently pay for our Plan: $260 for 7 Voice Lines $25 for two Wearable Lines. (One is $10/Month. The other is $15/Month because the AutoPay discount only applies up to 8 lines.) Total: $285/Month vs. Go5G Plus (Per the Broadband Facts "nutrition label" on the T-Mobile Website): https://www.t-mobile.com/commerce/cell-phone-plans $360 - ($5 AutoPay Discount x 7 Voice Lines) = $325 The Watch Plans show as either $12/Month or $15/Month: https://www.t-mobile.com/cell-phone-plans/affordable-data-plans/smartwatches So this is about the same for the wearables as what we're paying now. Overall, it's quite more than we're paying now to switch plans. Ridiculous....
