HELP airrave question [answered]

Recommended Posts

I'm moving to a known sprint DEAD zone. i was wondering if the airrave would work when the closest sprint signal is about 2 miles away, and the closest tower is about 6 miles away (very big hills between me and the tower) the tower i would possibly connect to is 8 miles to the south. that's when and if the tower gets updated to 800 voice which could be tomorrow or months from now. otherwise i'll be forced to cancel sprint and go with verizon (yuck)  any help would be great thanks in advance

ps the attached is a picture of the current sprint service for that area

Oh good, an Airave thread. We have such a shortage of these.

thanks that answer my question you can close the thread now

The Airave has nothing to do with the towers in the area.  It's all about your internet connection and if it is allowed in that license area.
