Android browser stopping

These past 2 weeks while browsing the internet, my screen goes black, or phone wants to reboot itself. Most of the time it goes completely black, and when I hit the back key on the black screen, I get "processor com and Android. Browser has stopped" box popping up. What's making my phone do this? Is there a way to stop this? It's frustrating and annoying at the same time!

Try this:

Home -> Menu -> Settings -> Application Manager -> All -> Internet -> Clear Data

 

Note that this will delete your browser history and bookmarks.

 

You could also try an alternative browser, like Chrome, Opera, or Dolphin.

 

If that still doesn't help, you may need to perform a hard reset.

I like Chrome a lot better than the stock browser from HTC.  Plus it syncs my bookmarks and recent pages!
