phone still connects to 3g

Okay, so I bought my boyfriend a new sg2 for virgin its great... well this money money was kinda tough

So we couldn't pay his bill... but his fone still connects to 3g... its not a complete conection almost like it connects then boots him off. But he is about to surf the web, use internet apps... only thing I've noticed that doesn't work is making an internet call, off of textplus cuz it will cut off... any explainations? Btw this has been going on for 2 months now lol.

I have had this happen with unactivated phones. It work for a couple of minutes when booting up, then it will boot you off. However, I recommend paying the bill.
