CM10.1 based ROMs display accurate LTE signal strength in status bar!

Pretty neat. I'm on Slimbean which uses the same RIL as CM10.1. It's awesome seeing my LTE strength, rather than my 1x/EvDo strength.

 

Note: On 3G (EvDo or eHRPD), you will ONLY see 1x signal strength.

 

Not sure if this was the appropriate spot to post but thought I'd give a heads up.

Yeah, I believe Google finally integrated an API for LTE strength in Android 4.2. Of course, I don't think anyone is shipping 4.2 besides CM and Google on Nexus phones.
