Network outages

Currently one of many network outages right now...

 

Granville, OHIO is included, all over sprints official forums. I've tested 3 phones, iphone 4s, 5 and evo lte. When you go to make call says calling and just beeps. That's the extent of my phone use since 5pm eastern today. No phone calls, no 3g data and no text.

 

Hopefully it's fixed soon...

Wish we had that... No voice or data still!

Glad I had crappy sprint service at our last house, hooked up my airave and now we can talk until the tower gets fixed.

Did you root your phone to get it to say 1x? I know on every 4G phone that's been released, it says 3G. I know technically it is 3G but still, I'd like to know.

My phone is rooted also and it will day 1x also when it drops to it... Not sure if the developer added it to his rom or not. I'll ask, I'm running MeanBean by mikeyxda from xda forums.

... Correct. That is what I run on my phone to as well. Just wanna let you know I still got 1 xRTT. I drove by the cell site 1 of 9 and I didn't see no footprints

Called Sprint again to get an update...<br /><br /> Tower went down Saturday. The representative told me the three towers in my area have been degraded. The towers aren't down, just degraded, does that mean just to much traffic or data to stay online

Officially it is considered a 2.5G technology but when it first came out it was seen as a 3G technology. Don't know why though.
