Update Coming in on Evo Design 4G (Also some Evo 3Ds)

Nice I just did an manual check and nothn came up but I checked the HTC update and said Ics was avaible incase anyone has the same issue can't wait!!

You know, one of the only features I wanted changes was the ability to turn off the horrible sounds coming from the camera app. Gah!

Yea that would have been nice it is annoying should have had an off button can't sneak pics lol but liking the update so far

One of the many reasons I like running custom roms. My point and shoot camera doesn't make noise, my phone shouldn't either!

Some other things I noticed after some time with the update...

 

--negative

 

- Messaging app loads more slowly.

- Typing get's behind far more than it used to.

- Resuming apps takes longer.

 

--positive

 

- Battery life is definitely improved.

- Web pages seem to be a bit faster loading.

- Less RAM used by OS.

I agree and the rotion when flipping the phone is slow or you really have to turn it the right way or its a pain but deffantly notice battery and browser does seem faster which I can't complain
