Reading and following links recently while looking at available options brought me to this site. Sprint user for about a decade, hoping that 4G will hurry up and get to Las Vegas soon :0)

Welcome to S4GRU. I live in pahrump and am waiting also. Sprint's contractors have been pulling permits to start working on bringing Network Vision, so hopefully it'll start any day.

How are the speeds in vegas? I will be in vegas next week for work

When I was in there in December speeds were running around 400k down/up. Hopefully work will start soon before it gets slower.

Well, 400kbps up/down is fine for most applications, regardless. However, I was in Vegas just before Christmas, and I was impressed with the Sprints data performance. I stayed at the Venetian, and on the casino floor I was able to get around 1400kbps Down. Another speedtest was on the casino floor of Harrah's and got over 1300kbps down. I only did two or three tests while I was there, so my assessment is far from conclusive however, I did use data on my phone all the time and it performed admirably. Now, I don't know if these casino's had Sprint repeaters or not, but the data was great.

I'm in Vegas this weekend and the 4g was better than I thought. I had it from the near strip east to close to the Hoover Dam.
