When I am not on B41 but on B25 instead I can get anywhere from 3-12 down / 2-4 up on average and max around 27/8. B26 is pretty much a ghost at this point I see it connect then quickly disconnect so I can't test it.

It is if I select a Galaxy S5 as my device, if I choose my Nexus 5 I get just regular LTE.
-
I can be right in close proximity to the tower and speeds are the same with a -80-90 or so signal.
-
So in my discoveries of latching onto B41 I have noticed several oddities. Mainly speed; and those horrible pings!: image Is this tower somehow still connected to old WiMax backhaul? (regardless of which tower I am connected to speeds are in the pits like shown above). image image I am supposed to be in a Sprint Spark Turbo market and the speeds are considerably worse than B25, B26 seems to be in testing I don't stay connected long enough to do any tests. But regardless of signal strength the speeds are generally the same on B41. Don't know if this is in the right place but I figured I would take a shot.

Take your time, was just curious.

I've had that happen a few times myself, SignalCheck Pro would show B41 but the Engineering Screen would should B25. I have also had SignalCheck Pro show B26 but in fact it was B25.

That's why I got rid of my iPhone, in bad signal areas my phone wouldn't stay on 800. My nexus 5 will camp on it all day if needed. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk

Doesn't help that the iPhone avoids 800 like the plague. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk

Well at work I saw this popup a few times throughout the day, didn't stay on it long as it went back to B25. Also saw my phone was connected to B41 when I woke up this morning but it was at about -128 so I was lucky enough to get a screenshot, but walking to work I was connected to B41 for most of my trip not bad. I love having a Triband phone, especially a performer like the Nexus 5. And for some reason Signal Check pro doesn't like showing a 1x connection when on LTE even though I have voice etc, it's weird.

This is good news. -
I don't even use it, and I often switch to my S3 so it just causes issues with the bug that still hasn't been fixed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

iMessage is rather pointless now with unlimited texts lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It looks great, I've just pretty much grown tired of iOS same thing every year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I was looking forward to the iPhone 6 but now I feel myself wanting to go back to Android, it's going to be a hard decision to make come September, then again if the 6 doesn't have B41 it's not even a question of going back to Android.

Granted I am using my iPhone 5 right now and I am getting my S3 back from a friend that I loaned it to while he had his Note II break. But anyway I have seen this on both my iPhone 5 and S3, connecting to LTE now is a chore it seams. I can have 2-3 bars of LTE and it will switch to 3G when there is no reason to. I can't figure it out, two different phones and the same problems. But maybe what is being said is right that B26 is live now and they're adjusting everything. This has been going on for the last 3 months or so, it's really aggravating as 3G is still piss ass slow. I've even called up Sprint and went into a store and they can't find anything wrong on their side and it's obviously not my phones.

LTE connection observations - Summer 2014
BlueAngel replied to fubka's topic in Network, Network Vision/LTE Deployment
Welcome to my world, there has been no change for me today it's still the same old lack of LTE, here's hoping when my upgrade is due in September I get a nice setup with the Galaxy S5. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
LTE connection observations - Summer 2014
BlueAngel replied to fubka's topic in Network, Network Vision/LTE Deployment
I went to the Sprint store today as calling customer service gets me no where. But I had them do their diagnostics on my phone and account and everything came back golden, apparently I have only had 3 dropped calls since may and I don't recall any of them. My service to them is considered excellent, but they refreshed the profile to my phone and other crap and we will see how the connection improves in a few days if at all.
