Just installed M, pretty nice so far.

So far I haven't experienced the memory leak I'm at nearly 40 hours without a restart.

My 3G is basically dialup.

So coverage in my area is lacking, data wise that is. My voice and text is amazing now thanks to 1x800. Problem is LTE or lack thereof, if I am out and about I am connected about 75% of the time, otherwise I am on unbearable 3G. I can be on LTE on B25/B41 at ~105dBm and walk into a store and be stuck on 3G. The problem is B26 has the same signal strength as B25/B41 so I am suffering from basically no low end spectrum. They had their network techs do a local drive by and they said everything is working as it should, which is obviously bs. So in the short term they said they increased the B41 signal by my house which basically did nothing it's still spotty. They asked me if I wanted an airave lol, like that would totally solve my data issues. Then they said it's my phone that is the problem, obviously not my friends suffer from the same issues. So I contacted Marcelo Claure on Twitter and he got back to me saying he will try to help, haven't heard anything yet. Now obviously B26 is not optimized, seems like it's about 50% of what it can be but they say otherwise. I more or less called their network techs idiots, it's be a long while now since B26 has been turned on, yet coverage has stayed the same. I guess I'm just getting tired of seeing no improvement but they play stupid and say things are fine. Thoughts? [emoji13]

Just flashed the 5.1.1 image, installing apps now. Probably nothing different, although I do see that there is a new radio firmware .26.

I have a ticket open with Sprint, there are two places where I don't get LTE and it's because B26 has the same power as B25, if not worse than B41 it's pathetic. We're trying to figure this out. Mind you it's been over a year since B26 has popped up.

Sprint really needs to get the ball rolling on B26, if people could see that they have LTE pretty much everywhere it would change their perception. Kind of like my situation right now, a lot of buildings I only have 3G and I know if B26 were to be optimized I would be on LTE. Sent from my Nexus 5

While it's possible I highly doubt it. It's true for my friend as well we both connect to it and then drop it in favor of 3G. I only use the stock rom sometimes rooted and other times not.

Happened on my Note 4 as well it's not a device issue.

I might as well be, 800 voice is solid but LTE on 800 is a different story. So many places I drop to 3G when I could be on LTE 800 but it drops to 3G at only 105dBm. They need to optimize this soon it's only been almost a year now I don't know what is taking so long. Sent from my Nexus 5

Yeah that's what I figured, I'll report back with an update.

Yeah did that and pretty much everything else sadly.

We did everything but replace the Sim, going to do that tomorrow.

So my Sister and Brother in law just switched to Sprint to from AT&T, he got a Nexus 6 and she got a HTC One E8. His phone is perfect everything works as it should but she came home and she is getting a "4g services are unavailable as the sim/uicc is invalid". When that happens the LTE turns off and she is stuck on 3G, popping the sim out and back in works temporarily but it's not a solution. She called Sprint and they did their thing and still nothing they said go back to the store. Is this a common problem with HTC phones? Any help would be appreciated in this manner.

Fresh install here, no difference. Maybe it's just my area, I completely disabled B26 it's pretty much useless right now. Perhaps they are optimizing things and in the mean time things are not quite working right. Sent from my Nexus 5

Has anyone noticed any radio differences between 5.0.1 and 5.1? My phone seems to take forever to switch from 3G to LTE. I usually have to toggle airplane mode to get LTE back. Sent from my Nexus 5
