I am using a physical Sprint SIM right now. I initially had eSIM on my Pixel 4, but I accidentally discovered that was preventing me from activating an LTE plan on my a Samsung Galaxy Watch. When I switched to a physical SIM, the watch plan was able to be activated.
Can you share the SIM Card number you are using for your Pixel 5?

Liking my Pixel 5 so far.. after finally getting used to face unlock on the Pixel 4, I catch myself staring at the Pixel 5 for a second before remembering to use the fingerprint reader.. no problems so far, the phone seems very snappy. I really like the matte back. Screen and camera are very good as always. The minimal front bezel and punch hole selfie cam is cool.
I was a Sprint customer, but the Pixel 5 is preferring T-Mobile, while showing the roaming 'R' when connected to Sprint sites. I learned that this is because it's a newer 5G-capable device so ROAMAHOME was added.
I have connected to T-Mobile NSA 5G, but no standalone yet. Looking online, is sounds like the only official response is that standalone is "coming soon" -- has anyone connected to SA with the Pixel 5 yet?
Are you using a physical SIM or E-SIM? hope its possible to remove the ROAMAHOME as T-Mobile service where I live is terrible.

VoLTE is confirmed per sprint support
https://www.sprint.com/en/shop/services/volte.html
WiFi calling is not
https://www.sprint.com/en/support/solutions/services/faqs-about-wi-fi-calling.html
We can assume RCS is "enabled" I believe, at least between another eligible Sprint phone.
Im suprised that the Pixel 4 does not support Wifi Calling as Pixel 3 does. I guess we are going to have to check it out when it comes out.

Are you rooted? That can prevent the OTA from applying.
If you aren't rooted, download the full factory image and flash it with adb. This will not apply though if you're currently rooted, and will also throw an error.
If you are rooted (or bootloader unlocked at least), get the factory image and remove "-w" from the one line in the .bat (Windows) or .sh (Linux/Mac) file, so that it won't wipe your data. Leaving -w wipes the device, removing it preserves data. This is guaranteed to work.

Nope not rooted. Completely stock. I will have to download the factory image but I dont want to delete all my stuff from the phone. I believe everything deletes if I flash the factory image from the settings right?

Does anyone have a Pixel 3 XL case recommendation that's more rugged than the Spigen Rugged Armor? Let's just say it's not rugged enough.
This is the one I have but is not rugged as the Spingen Rugged but it has sustained small drops with no damage at all. I have tempered glass as well.

According to reddit users, VoLTE is now live in OC and Inland Empire.

I'm not able to make calls when connected to WiFi only (Airplane mode on). Whether I have Mobile Preferred or Wi-Fi Preferred doesn't matter.
Can you actually make a calls while on Airplane Mode On with your Pixel 3??
Yes, I am able to make calls while on airplane mode on my Pixel 3 XL

Are there any other ways to troubleshoot Wi-Fi calling other than contact Sprint Support where they'll likely just blame Google? Seems like I'm not able to remove Wi-Fi calling from my account either with contact support.
Have you tried using it on Airplane mode? Service is pretty bad in my work building due to cement walls and sometimes when calling it will use regular 1X and sometimes Wifi Calling. I have it set to Mobile Preferred but notice improvement in audio call when on Wifi calling. Also, when other devices are both on wifi calling the HD logo appears on the call and audio quality is great.

New tower in Corona (Kellogg Park) on a decommissioned Nextel Site. This area had B25 which was very unstable, a few weeks ago B26 was turned on and it helped with LTE data but the addition of this site will provide better service for Sprint Customers.

To add more in regards Wifi HD calling, I just placed a Wifi call to my neighbor on Verizon, HD logo was shown on the screen and call was crystal clear. I tried calling my sprint iphone and the HD logo does not show 😕
I also tried doing a 3 way call and that did not work. Seems like its not supported while on wifi. I will try to play with it and see how it works.

I've noticed the HD icon on the dialer screen as well. Doesn't appear to matter if you're on Wi-Fi Calling or not, just when HD Voice is active.
On another note.. anyone here having the issue with callers hearing you severely muffled and they hear their own echo? Looks like a widespread issue online. I noticed it only occurs on non-HD calls so it's likely a software issue. It's a serious problem though.

Interesting, I'm pretty happy as this is the first time I use wifi calling on Android. Had the pixel 2 XL and this feature was not available. I previously had the Moto X Pure and remember seeing the HD icon too as well on my Moto X OG.

We had to order the 516TQ Sim in order to activate (no one in Vegas had them in stock). Corporate Store/Customer Care/Online Portal would not allow us to use the Sims we used previously 416tq, nor would it allow us to use a new 416tq. What's different with these SIMs? Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
416tq is only compatible with the Pixel 2 & Pixel 2 XL
The 516TQ is compatible with the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL

1X 800 seems to be off now. Probably Sprint is testing or configuring sites

LTE B26 in Corona near Magnolia and Fullerton. Noticed my phone was on 3G, toggled airplane mode, connected to B25, should be in B41 cause have a MB at home, went upstairs where the MB is installed and saw it was working fine (had to restart MB already twice since I got it cause sometimes it looses LTE), checked my phone again and boom LTEB26
Was at AMC at Tyler Mall over the weekend, inside the theater saw the B26 for a second but wasn't able to grab a screenshot and then it parked on B4 Roaming on T-mobile so I knew it was coming.
